Here is the cool looking teaser poster for another upcoming super hero movie entitled, “Witchblade”. There is no information on the actors for the film as of yet.The film started shooting back in September of 2008. Some say it should be out some time this year while others say it has a 2010 release scheduled. Whatever the date is, I’ll be there because I love super hero movies. I saw the tv series back in the day when it aired for a short time,and it was just ok for me. I expect them to do alot more with a big screen movie for it though.

The Plot / Synopsis :Based on the Witchblade comic book series.Sara Pezzini is one of a specially chosen females from each generation is to wear a special ornate, jewel encrusted ,right-handed gauntlet which gives the wearer supernatural powers.It can only be worn by a female host.The witchblade can shoot energy blasts,fire projectile darts,and whip-like grapples to either attack or climb stuff. It also possess alot of other powers.

It’s confirmed by the studios that a “Sex and the City” sequel is in the works. Warner Bros studios stated they’re currently in negotiations. Also one of the stars of the movie ,Kim Cattrall stated on a British talk show that yes there will be a follow up movie. The first “Sex and the City” movie made more than $153 million in the U.S. alone. HBO,the network which aired the tv show series also said that all the studios want a sequel to be made.

I never went an saw the movie,but hey more power to them. I actually have caught the show a couple of times. I was just never really interested in seeing it as a movie. If they ever show it on tv or something I may take a look at it.

“The Haunting of Molly Hartley”.All can say is hmmm and you’ll understand why once I’m finished with this review. The movie starts of with an interlude which consist of a girl who’s about to turn 18 that has weird headaches and stuff. Then her father who appears to be really disturbed kills her in a car accident professing he can’t let her turn 18 which I guess is supposed to set the stage to what the movie is going to be about. After that it cuts to present day with Molly Hartley(Haley Bennett). From what I gathered her parents made some type of a deal with a lady when Molly was born to keep her alive,and they would come back for her on her 18th birthday.

Molly and her dad (Jake Weber) move to a new town because supposedly her mom,Jane Hartley(Marin Hinkle) tried to kill her by stabbing her in the chest claiming she couldn’t let her turn 18. In the new town she befriends Joseph Young(Chase Crawford) and Alexis(Shanna Collins). They appear too be her friends on the surface but as the movie unfolds it is revealed that they know about her mom and the deep dark secret that she supposedly possessed.In the new town Molly starts to have weird visions of her mom attacking her again accompanied by headaches.

After a series of events some of which include getting into a fight with Joseph’s ex,Suzie(AnnaLynne McCord), throwing her escaped from a mental hospital mom over a balcony,and knocking her dad out. She finally comes into contact with the people who want her back on her 18th birthday one of them being Joseph. This event ends with her trying to kill herself when the clock strikes 12 am on her 18th birthday which apparently is unsuccessful since the next scene shows her very happy and her putting her dad in the mental hospital leaving him to rott there.

What is it with this guy? Apparently Jason Voorhees got sent to hell back in 1993 and then killed by Freddie Kruger 10 years later in 2003. He must make big bucks for the studios because we just can’t seem to get rid of him. Now, he’s back for a remake of the original 1980 thriller, “Friday the 13th”. Enjoy the trailer.

Now it’s time to take a look at the trailer for the new movie,”Twilight”.I’ve seen alot of coverage on this movie everywhere and after reviewing the trailer I must admit that I’m sucked into the plot of the film. I really wanna know now how this bad boy is gonna play out. Enjoy the trailer.

The Plot: Bella Swan(Kristen Stewart) is a unique girl who has never been interested in fitting in with the so called “in crowd”. Her mother remarries and sends her to live with her Father in a little town called,Forks, Washington where she meets an interesting boy who is different from any other boy she’s ever met. It turns out that he’s a vampire,but not a traditional vampire that sucks blood and has fangs,and apparently he can go out in the day time. He really likes her but the closer they get the more he must fight his primal urges.There’s also more trouble when his mortal vampire enemies come to town and try to attack her. Will he be able to protect her?

Here is the trailer for ,”The Haunting of Molly Hartley”. It’s coming out this Halloween weekend. I’ve always thought this movie looked pretty interesting because it looks like it has an air of mystery to it which I like because it keeps me guessing.

The Plot: 17 year old Molly Hartley(Haley Bennett) recently moves to a new town after her mother has a psychotic breakdown .In her efforts to try and fit in with the new crowd she’s haunted by visions and voices that stem from a dark secret in her past.Will she figure out what’s going on? The movie also costars, Chase Crawford from “Gossip Girl”.

Alright, I just saw “Saw V” today and right off the bat which was no surprise to me it starts off with a grissly gruesome murder involving a huge swinging blade and cutting someone in half. This 5th installment of “Saw” explores deeper into Lieutenant Mark Hoffman’s(Costas Mandylor) involvement with John Jigsaw(Tobin Bell) and reveals that he actually helped out with most of the murders Jigsaw committed. He worked with Jigsaw because Jigsaw revealed to him that he new about a murder that Hoffman committed to avenge his sister’s death in Jigsaw fashion so that it would look like another Jigsaw murder and take the focus off of it leading to him. Agent Strahm(Scott Patterson) is on to him though and he investigates throughout the entire movie to get evidence on him which unfortunately leads to his demise.

Also we see another gang of 5 victims one of which being Luba(Meagan Good) who which you’ll have to excuss me; I was sorry to see get killed. She is one beautiful chick.Ok, back to the review. Yeah, they all fall prey to another one of Jigsaw’s horrible games which attempts to teach them a lesson about themselves and how they’re all connected. They learn this lesson but unfortunately the hard way.Some of the ways include a horrible decapitation scene,5 pints of blood being drained from 2 people,and a man literally being blown to bits. Hoffman is able to frame Strahm for everything and is able to escape the attempts of Strahm leaving this Franchise open for yet another sequel in what will appear to be just one more notch in a seemingly endless series of even more sequels. There’s no doubt in my mind that I could be writing a review for a Saw 11 or 12 in like 6-7 years from now. God knows the money is right the way this film is performing at the box office right now.

My take: I generally don’t like to watch grissly horror films but yet I keep going back. I have yet to figure out why. Anyways, I thought the film was interesting in how it explored yet another link to the Jigsaw puzzle. It had it’s fair share of gore but not as much as in the past which peronally was fine with me. I know some will disagree with my opinion as some people love that graphic stuff. All in all I give it a “B” for what it was and what it attempted to accomplish.

Here is the movie trailer for “High School Musical 3 :Senior Year”. I’m not a fan of musicals but one has to give respect to this high grossing franchise as it is number one worldwide this weekend.

The Plot: America’s favorite High School students start their senior year and they’ve got alot going on which involves a basketball championship,and a prom and spring musical starring all of the wildcats. They vow to make their friendship last as college plans threaten to change the dynamics of their relationships.The movie stars:Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Blue and Monique Coleman.

Though I’m not a fan, one has to admit there are plenty of other people who are as “High School Musical 3:Senior Year” tops the box office this week as the number one movie worldwide. Reuters reports that High School Musical 3″ has raked in $42 million in North America alone and another $40 million internationally.Those numbers make it the first worldwide chart topper since the “The Dark Knight” back in July of 2008. Wow, I think that’s pretty impressive,and it certainly commands my respect.
The “High School Musical” Franchise has made 2 hit tv movies,2 hit music albums,and stars out of it’s actors,Zac Efron,Vanessa Hudgens,and Ashley Tisdale.

I’m not really a fan of musicals although I didn’t sorta mind it in “Sweeny Todd:Demon Barber”,but if you are then you’ll probably wanna go see this one for sure.

Here is a trailer for “Saw V” which is in theaters today. Why this installment was even created is a mystery to me. If I had to guess I would probably say it had to do with money not because the script called for another one. Well, none the less I’m sure all you “Saw” fans will be happy.

The Plot: It seems as if Hoffman is the last person alive to carry on the Jigsaw legacy and when he is close to being found out he starts to go on the hunt to eliminate anyone who might know.
