He revealed that he was shocked by the outrageous fan attention over there,and a few other things. Robert started off saying that "New Moon" was easier to shoot because he mostly played the supporting role in it. They weren't really relying on him to push the movie forward. He commented about missing his normal life, when asked. He said, "Uh, yeah, sometimes."

He talked about how amazing it is that they've already filmed two sequels within a year of the first "Twilight" movie coming out.

Summit Entertainment's number one movie, "Twilight Saga: New Moon" banked in a whopping 142.8 million dollars in its opening weekend,according to Reuters. This put them in 3rd place for the all time sales record for opening weekend releases. Batman's "The Dark Night" still leads the pack with $158 million,and "Spider-Man 3" comes in 2nd place with $151 million. However, "New Moon" does lead the pack for the midnight screenings record at $26.3 million. I personally thought it had a real good chance to possibly beat out the all-time record,but oh well. I'm sure Summit Entertainment is still real happy with the results,and should announce the "Breaking Dawn" 4th sequel pretty soon. They're nuts,if they don't.

Summit Entertainment's epic "Twilight Saga: New Moon" finally hit the theaters this weekend,and I must say that the final outcome was pretty interesting. There was way more to this movie than all the clips we've been seeing for the past 6 months,made it out to be. As you probably already know, "Twilight Saga: New Moon" centered around the three main characters, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) ,Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson),and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). It started off in the same type of high school setting that we saw in "Twilight," but it soon escalated deeper than that,after Bella and Jasper's incident at her 18th birthday party. This incident made Edward and the rest of the Cullens decide to leave town.

According to reports from Reuters, the Summit Entertainment hit movie, "Twilight Saga: New Moon" broke the record for single day sales for the North American box office. It earned $72.7 million across the United States and Canada on Friday. It also broke the midnight record sales,with $26.3 million. The old record for single day sales was about $62.2 million,which was held by the "Batman" sequel "The Dark Night." Last year the original "Twilight" movie brought in $70 million over it's entire opening weekend, so "New Moon" has definitely outlapped it by leaps and bounds,and it's only Saturday.
