A couple of days ago on 4-22-09, USA Today got a hold of the first official Twilight Saga “New Moon” poster or photo from the film. It features the four boys from the wolf pack which include : Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier. The fifth werewolf , Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob in the film, for some reason is not shown in the photo. Maybe they’ve reserved a solo poster for him. Who Knows ? I do know he is one of the main wolf packers,and will form a closer bond with Bella (Kristen Stewart) after her love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) leaves town to go to Europe. Courtesy of Entertainment Tonight. In the below video, we get to see first hand footage of the highly anticipated sequel to Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight” entitled, “New Moon” based on the popular Stephanie Meyer’s novels. In the video we see an interview with Robert Pattinson who plays Edward Cullen in the movie.

It also gives more insight into the plot concerning Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) relationship with Jacob who realizes he’s a werewolf in the movie. Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob, tells how he put on about 30 pounds of muscle for the role so he wouldn’t well, get fired. Sounds like a pretty good trade off. Read the rest of this entry »

Ok, here we go. I’ve got more “New Moon”casting news for you guys. Michael Sheen, the guy who played the head werewolf of the Lycans in the “Underworld” movies has now been cast to play the head of the vampire coven, “Volturi” in the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon”. He will be joining Kristen Stewart as Bella and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen in the sequel.

In the “New Moon” film Bella will be drawn into the world of werewolves where her loyalties will be tested as she is threatened by the Volturi vampires. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s Official now. Little Dakota Fanning has signed on to be in the sequel to Summit Entertainment’s “Twilight” entitled, “New Moon” which is based on Stephanie Meyer’s Novel. She will play Jane , the deceptively angelic, looking vampire who is a member of the ancient Italian vampire clan known as the Volturi. She will jump on the scene when Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) makes his way over to Italy in the film.

There was speculation for months that she would indeed join the cast while she was in negotiations. Also it was known that she was a fan of the “Twilight” cast, and well,now, she’s a part of it. Read the rest of this entry »

14 year old movie star, Dakota Fanning is currently in negotiations to appear in, “New Moon” the sequel to the hit film by Summit Entertainment,”Twilight” which starred : Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart as the lead roles. It’s possible that Dakota could join the “Twilight cast as the sadistic bloodsucker, Jane. The sequel,”New Moon” now currently has an official release date of November 20,2009.

“Twilight” stars Robert Patterson(Character:Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Character: Bella Swan) have each just landed a $12 million dollar payday to do the already planned follow up sequel to “Twilight” based on the second Stephanie Meyer’s book in the Twilight series entitled, “New Moon”. They only made about $2 million for “Twilight” but with the huge success of the film bringing in $70.55 million it’s opening weekend obviously made their stock rise. Also “New Moon” sounds really interesting as it will be an even larger film than “Twilight”. It will cover werewolves and journeys to Alaska and Italy.
