“Notorious” retraced the life and time of hip hop rapper, Christopher Wallace a.k.a.the “Notorious B.I.G. (Jamal Woolard)” from when he was just an elementary school kid writing lyrics. It showed how young Chris got introduced into the life of selling drugs on the street by his friend,Damion “D Roc” Butler (Dennis L.A. White). He continued to do it all through junior high and high school. Then when he got his girlfriend pregnant, he decided to do it full time. He went overboard with it and got caught.He had to do time in prison,but all the while as a side hobby, he would write some of the best rap lyrics around. Here is the trailer for the movie “Notorious” starring : Jamal Woolard, Angela Bassett, Derek Luke, Anthony Mackie, Antonique Smith, Naturi Naughton, Dennis White, Julia Pace Mitchell. I have to admit that there are alot of rappers I would have thought to make a movie about before I thought of Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie Smalls,but I must say this trailer does look pretty good. I totally remember jammin to his song, “Big Pappa” back in college. I will definately check it out.

The Plot : Notorious is about the life of late rapper,Christopher Wallace a.k.a. Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Biggie Smalls a successful rapper that burst on to the scene back in the mid 90′s with the help of Sean Combs a.k.a. “Puff Daddy” now “P Ditty” and his label “Bad Boy Entertainment”. The movie outlines how Notorious B.I.G. rose from the streets of Brooklyn and crime to become one of the most influential hip hop rappers in the world in just a few short years.

Sorry about all the “a.k.a.”, but you know rappers and all the names they have. I think they go threw about 20 of them in their lifetime.
