Beyonce,Jay Z chose Oprah Winfrey to be their Baby’s godmother. According to Hollywood Life and their sources,R&B songstress,star Beyonce and her rapstar husband Jay-Z have reportedly decided to make talk show queen Oprah Winfrey the godmother to their new baby Blue Ivy Carter. Apparently, Oprah is a close friend to them.

They also revealed that Jay-Z picked his best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith to be the godfather. The superstar couple,reportedly,wanted the godparents to be people who weren’t already related to them. I would say, Oprah is a pretty huge deal as a godparent. Read the rest of this entry »

Dakota was definitely having a great time as she hugged Oprah,and sported a huge smile for the cameras.

According to sources, Dakota joined Oprah on her big celebrity bash show taping,along with other celebs, Tom Hanks, Diane Sawyer, Queen Latifah, Patti LaBelle, Beyonce, Madonna, Halle Berry, Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise,and more. According to TMZ, Oprah revealed the big secret on her show today. Her sister’s name is Patricia. She’s Oprah’s half sister.

According to the Chicago Tribune, mega talk show host Oprah Winfrey is launching her brand new channel OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) this Saturday,January 1st,2011,and this Discovery Health Channel is going to be bumped out of the picture,so Oprah can reign.

They say that the Discovery Channel is going to die to make way for the birth of Oprah’s new channel at approximately 11am this Saturday morning. However, the launch will be low key by Oprah’s standards. There won’t be any closures,concerts,prizes,or surprises to kick things off,but I’m sure her loyal fans will definitely tune in. Oprah Winfrey revealed the real reason she’s quitting her talk show. Earlier today on her show, Oprah stated the real reason why she’ll be ending her talk show in 2011,after 25 years.

As she made the announcement on the show today,she began to tear up. She said, That she loves this show,it has been her life,and after 25 years,it just feels right.

Oprah Winfrey is set to end her talk show in 2011. According to a New York Times blog, Oprah Winfrey,the longtime queen of daytime talk,is scheduled to end her talk show on September of 2011. She’s reportedly going to be starting her own cable channel.

A spokeswoman for Oprah Winfrey’s company said that Oprah is going to make the announcement on her show tomorrow.

Bebe Winans arrested and wife upset he’s going on Oprah Winfrey Show,according to Gather.com. They report that the Gospel singer was arrested back in March of this year for domestic assault against his wife .

He allegedly pushed her down to the ground in front of their children. The case is currently still pending.

There is a little controversy stirring up, because despite this new, Oprah is having him on her show tomorrow to,again, host her Karaoke Challenge.

Now,she’s going to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” to promote her new book entitled, “Going Rogue: An American Life.” This will also be the first time that Sarah Palin and Oprah Winfrey have ever met.
