While I think “Gossip Girl” itself is a hit, I’m not diggin to much on the concept of this spin off they’re planning. Ew.com is stating that they’re planning to spin it off in May 2009,and the preface will be on a young Lily van der Woodsen’s teen years in 1980 Los Angeles, but the last time I checked,she was just a supporting character that’s playing backup to the interesting ones on “Gossip Girl”.

The only thing that sounded good to me about the spin off is that Brittany Snow would be playing the lead role which if the show did work,it would be because of her. I loved her in “Prom Night” by the way. It was excellent. Apparently they will also be bringing in character’s from their previous Fox hit , The O.C. The focus being that she crossed paths with Kirsten Nichol and Jimmy Cooper. Read the rest of this entry »

Here is the trailer for the upcoming Gossip Girl “It’s a Wonderful Lie” Episode.

In the upcoming 12th episode of season 2 “Gossip Girl” at the annual Snowflake Ball. Blair and Chuck start up their usual games again betting each other that they can find the ideal mates for one another which is just to weird,but yet entertaining at the same time. Aaron’s ex-girlfriend, Lexi shows an interest in Serena’s ex, Dan.Serena starts to get upset because she still has mixed feelings for Dan. Nate,Jenny,and Vanessa start a tangled triangle of mixed and hurt feelings which will start to jeopordize their friendships. It looks like the Gossip Girl writers will make the drama unfold once more. This episode is written by Robby Hull and directed by Patrick Norris.

In the episode 10 of season 8 “Smallville : Bride” Chloe and Jimmy prepare to get married. Meanwhile Oliver thinks he’s discovered where Lex is hiding out and tells Clark. Oliver,then rushes off to Cuba to confront him,but instead he shockingly finds Lana Lang. Clark and Lois begin to grow closer,but again trouble arrives as Doomsday crashes the wedding and tries to kidnap Chloe.

This is another good episode that airs Thursday November 20,2008 at 7pm central time on the, CW.
