While I think "Gossip Girl" itself is a hit, I'm not diggin to much on the concept of this spinoff they're planning. Ew.com is stating that they're planning to spin it off in May 2009,and the preface will be on a young Lily van der Woodsen's teen years in 1980 Los Angeles, but the last time I checked,she was just a supporting character that's playing backup to the interesting ones on "Gossip Girl".
