Yesterday July 29,2009 “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Rachelle Lefevre made a statement stating that she was shocked over being replaced as Victoria in the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie by Bryce Dallas Howard. Now, Summit Entertainment,the studio for the film, has fired back stating that is was her fault that the scheduling conflict occurred,and that she didn’t even notify them in the proper time frame. Here’s what they had to say :

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. We reported earlier that Rachelle Lefevre got replaced for her role as Victoria in the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie by Bryce Dallas Howard do to a scheduling conflict. But now according to Zap2it, and a statement they released from Rachelle herself,she was shocked over what happened.

And from reading her statement,it looks like she got fired from the role do to a misunderstanding. Here is what Rachelle had to say to the recent decision to recast her :

“I was stunned by Summit’s decision to recast the role of Victoria for “Eclipse.” I was fully committed to the Twilight saga, and to the portrayal of Victoria. I turned down several other film opportunities and, in accordance with my contractual rights, accepted only roles that would involve very short shooting schedules. Read the rest of this entry »

According to EW, Rachelle Lefevre who played the evil vampire Victoria in “Twilight” and “New Moon”, has reportedly dropped out of the third installment “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” do to scheduling conflicts. They didn’t give any other information on the details of her scheduling conflicts.

However, they have found a replacement for her. Her replacement will be Bryce Dallas Howard (top right image). Bryce has been seen in big films like : “Terminator Salvation”,”Spider-Man 3″, and M. Night Shyamalan’s “The Village.” So Bryce will now be the new evil Victoria for “Eclipse”.

It is going to be directed by David Slade,and the screenplay will be written by Melissa Rosenberg.

Back in March of 2009, “Twilight” and “New Moon” stars Nikki Reed who plays Rosalie Hale and Rachelle Lefevre who plays Victoria, interviewed with Access Hollywood to talk about “New Moon:.

They revealed when they were going to start shooting the “New Moon”. Then they revealed the release date of New Moon as well as the filming schedule for “Eclipse”. They jokingly said that they need to film the movies right away because vampires are not supposed to age. Nikki stated that “New Moon” is going to revolve more around Jacob and Bella’s relationship so her and Rachelle won’t make many appearances in “New Moon”,but they’ll all return for the third film. A Youtuber posted some video footage of Taylor Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre’s appearance at this year’s “Much Music Video Awards” over in Canada on June 21,2009. In This video, we first see Rachelle Lefevre getting out of her ride to do an interview. She reveals that she has a lot of family in Toronto,Canada. Then she talks about her new movie she’s filming over there with Kevin Spacey called “Casino Jack”. She also reveals that she plays a a little online poker on her Blackberry. Next, she talks a little about her character Victoria in the “Twilight Saga” films and how fans react to her when she meets them. She also says that Taylor Lautner is going to convert all the “Team Edward” fans over to “Team Jacob” in “New Moon”.

“New Moon” and “Twilight” star Rachelle Lefevre who plays the evil vampire Victoria in the films, recently gave an interview to a news team over in Canada while filming a new movie opposite Kevin Spacey and getting ready to present at the “MuchMusic Video Awards”.

Rachelle talked about how Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewarts chemistry is very good onscreen,and it can really cause rumors to pop up. She said, “People want them to be together. People would love to hear that.That they fell in love on the set and so they read that into everything they see.But all I’ve seen are two people who have beautiful chemistry on-screen and are bonded. “New Moon” and “Twilight movie stars Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria),and Edi Gathegi (Laurent) gave a “Twilight” interview to Reelzchannel back in November of 2008 when “Twilight” first came out. They talked about what it has been like to travel around the world to talk about the movie. Taylor said it has been insane,and that they feel like rock stars.

Edi said that they’ve been traveling a lot,and have got to meet so many enthusiastic fans. They talk about how there was no way to really prepare for the success of “Twilight”.
