According to reports from radar.com, they saw Robert Pattinson get grazed by a cab while filming his new movie “Remember Me” in New York on Thursday June 18,2009 at about noon. Apparently he was trying to get away from hysterical fans,and got clipped by a cab in front of the Strand Bookstore on Broadway and 12th Street.

They say he was not hurt. He had been inside most of the morning filming “Remember Me”. Then a team of five security guards tried to fend off a crowd of teenage girls as Robert was leaving the bookstore. It was raining heavily as they tried to quickly get him across the street. As they did,the cabbie quickly slammed on his breaks once he realized what was going on and grazed him. They said it looked like the cab hit Robert in the hip,and he stood there for a second because he was stunned. The “Twilight” and “New Moon” ultra movie star Robert Pattinson is going to be in another film called “Remember Me”,which is also being distributed by Summit Entertainment. Now, a couple of more stars are going to be joining him in this film. The stars include : Emilie de Ravin who stars in “Lost”,Pierce Brosnan,and Chris Cooper. Also Lena Olin is reported to be in negotiations to join the film as well. Allen Coulter will direct the film.

The plot is that Robert Pattinson will play a young man who has a brother that has committed suicide,and it caused his parents (Pierce Brosnan and Lena Olin) to split up. This has caused Pattinson’s character to sort of sleepwalk through life. De Ravin is going to play a young woman who seizes life to it’s fullest after seeing her mother get killed right before her eyes. Chris Cooper is reported to play the father of De Ravin’s character.
