Russell Brand filed Katy Perry divorce and possibly shocked her. As previously reported, Russell Brand and Katy Perry got in a big fight right around Christmas time that left them saying, F you to each other,and ending up in different regions of the world for the most famous holiday,and also shedding their wedding rings.

Now, according to TMZ, Russell brand went ahead and filed for divorce,which may have possibly blindsided Katy Perry. The divorce documents cite “irreconcilable differences.” They originally got married on October 23rd,2010,and have no kids.

Singer Katy Perry had serious fight with hubby Russell Brand & could break up. According to multiple sources,including Hollywood Life, popular singing star Katy Perry,apparently,had a mega huge fight with her British comedian, husband Russell Brand just before Christmas,and it caused them to spend the holiday separately.

It’s also reported that their relationship is in dangerous territory,now,and a break up could be right around the corner. Details of the fight sound pretty serious as their sources claim, they fought because Russell disrespected Katy’s Christian beliefs,stating, “Katy doesn’t think Russell respects her parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends. Come on,guys. Not for real,but he does act it out in the new 2009 MTV Video Music Awards promo (below). In the promo, Britney sees that Russell is hosting the VMAs again this year.

Then Russell sees that Britney might show up again this year. Britney wonders if he’ll invite her personally, since they’re such good friends, and all. She wonders if she should’ve played it up more when he was flirting with her last year.She admits there is something sexy about his dangerous face.

According to Hollywood Reporter,British comedian and actor Russell Brand is set to host the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. This will be his second consecutive year to host the show. The show is reported to be held in New York on September 13,2009.

It’s going to be staged at Radio City Music Hall where the 2006 VMA’s took place. Last year the show was hosted in Los Angeles, California. British Comedian, Russell Brand who recently hosted the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and co starred in the recent, funny “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” film is reportedly in talks to co-star along side Johnny Depp as his brother in “Pirates of The Caribbean 4″. He has been quoted as saying,”He has been practicing by dressing as a pirate every day”. Brand is also co-starring in the upcoming “Bedtime Stories” movie starring,Adam Sandler.

I personally think that he’s a shew in for the part. He suits the character perfectly.
