‘Spider-Man 4′ movie gets rid of Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi. According to “Entertainment Weekly,” Sony’s huge Spider-Man 4 movie has gotten rid the main star, Tobey Maguire and the director, Sam Raimi. They report that it is official that Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi will not continue on with the franchise in the 4th installment. This occurred after seven weeks of Sam Raimi arguing with Sony. There are no reports on who will be the new star or new director.

Sony is now going to move forward with a new filmmaking team for Spider-Man 4,and a different script,written by James Vanderbilt,which will put Spider-Man back in high school. According to Variety Sam Raimi has been hired by Warner Bros. to direct their new “World of Warcraft” movie which is based on the very popular video game franchise created by Blizzard Entertainment. Sam Raimi has directed such films as “Spider-Man”,”Evil Dead”, and the most recent flick “Drag Me To Hell” which was really scary by the way.

Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment are set to mount the film. While Warner Bros will co-finance and distribute it. Sam Raimi is going to supervise the development,and shoot the film after he gets done working on “Spider-Man 4″ Read the rest of this entry »

Sam Raimi did a great job with this movie. It was truly frightening. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time,and that Mrs. Ganush was just truly,truly gross. In a brief synopsis of this film. Christine Brown played by the gorgeous Alison Lohman, is working hard to get a promotion at the bank she works at. One day, an old Gypsy type lady named Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) walks in,and asks Christine if she can please have a third extension on her mortgage because she’s been sick. It ends up being Christine’s call, after she talks to her manager. Feeling the pressure of wanting to get that promotion,she turns down Mrs. Ganush because it would lose the bank, money.

Mrs. Ganush doesn’t like that, so she eventually puts a curse of the Lamia on Christine after attacking her. Christine eventually goes to a seer named Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) with her boyfriend, Clay Dalton (Justin Long) after feeling the effects of the curse start to take hold.
