‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie delivered good action & comedy scenes. Warner Bros. Pictures delivered their new “Sherlock Holmes” movie this weekend. I just finished watching it. It was pretty entertaining,delivering some good action and comedy scenes. It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

“Sherlock Holmes” revolved around characters, Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his sidekick, Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) . They finally capture the evil Lord Blackwood,and he gets sentenced to death by hanging,or so it would appear. However, he manages to come back from the dead,so Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are brought back on the case to help bring him down.

Top movie critics gave ‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie great reviews. Warner Bros. Pictures new “Sherlock Holmes” movie starring Robert Downey Jr. hit theaters today,and the top movie critics appear to be pretty happy with it,giving it great reviews. It got mostly Bs and only two Cs. It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

Roger Ebert from the Chicago Sun-Times gave it a B. He said, “Guy Ritchie’s film is filled with sensational sights, over-the-top characters and a desperate struggle atop Tower Bridge.”

Owen Gleiberman of Entertainment Weekly gave it a B- rating . He stated, “A top-heavy light entertainment.” James Berardinelli over at Reelviews gave it another B-,stating, “Guy Ritchie’s ‘re-interpretation’ of Holmes feels more spastic than kinetic.” Read the rest of this entry »

‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie releases new action filled movie clip. Warner Bros. Pictures has come out with another movie clip (below) for it’s new action,adventure,mystery flick, “Sherlock Holmes,” which hits theaters tomorrow. It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

In “Sherlock Holmes,” Robert Downey Jr. plays Sherlock Holmes in a new dynamic portrayal of Arthur Conan Doyle’s most famous characters. It sends Sherlock and his partner, Dr. John Watson (Jude Law) on their latest challenge.

‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie releases very interesting 11th new movie clip. Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new,interesting 11th movie clip (below) for “Sherlock Holmes.” It stars : Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly. This clip looks very interesting as it lays out the plan for what they need Sherlock Holmes to do. “Sherlock Holmes” hits theaters this weekend.

MTV released a new “Sherlock Holmes” movie trailer today. As the release date for Warner Bros new Sherlock Holmes movie draws closer,more movie trailers abound.

Today, MTV released another new,action-filled, movie Trailer for the action/adventure/mystery flick,due to hit theaters next month.

It stars: Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

This new “Sherlock Holmes” movie trailer shows more action & fights. Warner Bros released it about 11 days ago. Yeah, I know,we’re late getting it posted,but hey,better late than never. This trailer gets pretty intense with action and fight scenes. It stars : Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong, Eddie Marsan, and Kelly Reilly.

This clip shows Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr) running,fighting,dodging bullets,and jumping into water, right from the get-go. Then it shows more of his partnership with sidekick, Dr. John Watson (Jude Law).

Next, it jumps to another good fight scene where Sherlock Holmes fights a man twice as big as him. It also mixes in some good comical scenes,which are quite funny. Read the rest of this entry »

Ben Lyons over at E! online caught up with Robert Downey Jr. at the recent Comic-Con event in the video (below). Robert is currently the star of some very big upcoming films “Sherlock Holmes” and “Ironman 2″.

He was at Comic-Con to promote “Sherlock Holmes” in particular,but he talked a little about “Iron Man 2″ as well,and made a few comparisons. Robert talked about how more physically demanding the “Sherlock Holmes” role was compared to the “Iron Man” role because he did all his own major stunts in the film.

The people over at Warner Bros have set a date for the release of their new film, Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. as the classic,clever dectective.
