Paula Abdul,Simon Cowell officially reunite to judge new X-Factor show. According to People.com former American Idol judges Paula Abdul & Simon Cowell are going to officially reunite to judge his new,upcoming X-Factor U.S. version talent show.

They say that MTV recently confirmed the news. The new X-Factor show is set to premiere this fall. Other judges will be former music executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid and British singer and U.K. X Factor judge Cheryl Cole. ‘American Idol’ Insider says Simon & Ellen can’t stand each other. According to TMZ , American Idol judge, Simon Cowell apparently enjoys pissing of new judge, Ellen DeGeneres,and they can’t stand each other. This would probably explain why she no longer sits by him. They say that they just flat out don’t get along and the tension is building. Their “American Idol” insiders say that Simon and Ellen aren’t even trying to hide it. Ellen can’t stand Simon’s cruel comments towards the contestants,and Simon really enjoys pissing Ellen off with his blistering critiques.

Howard Stern says it’s possible he could replace Simon on American Idol. According to TV.com , the outrageous radio show personality, Howard Stern said it’s possible that he could replace Simon Cowell on the Fox hit talent show, “American Idol,” but they would have to pay him a ton of dough to do it.

They say that Howard confirmed the rumor yesterday that FOX had contacted him about replacing Simon Cowell on “American Idol” next year. Howard said that there wouldn’t be a better job than that,but he would need a lot of dough. He stated, “There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f—ing karaoke contest. Simon Cowell to leave “American Idol” for American “X-Factor” show. TMZ is reporting that Simon Cowell has confirmed that he will definitely be leaving “American Idol” after its upcoming 9th season to do an American version of X-Factor. They report that Simon Cowell just announced the news,and that this will indeed be his last season on “American Idol.” He’s leaving the show to be a judge and executive producer on FOX’s upcoming American version of “The X- Factor” TV show.

Simon made the announcement during the semiannual Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena. Simon said he wanted to do something different. He stated he was, “offered a lot of money” to stay on American Idol,but he wanted to do something different.” Simon reportedly currently makes around $36 million a year on “American Idol.”

The Danyl Johnson “The X Factor” video has officially gone viral. Monday,the official YouTube video clip had about 600,000 views since the weekend.

Then 24 hours later,the count had doubled to almost 1.2 million views. On Saturday Night’s airing of the show, judge Simon Cowell said Danyl Johnson’s audition was “the best first audition I have ever heard.”

This caused Johnson to quickly become a frontrunner on the show,which raised questions of if he would become the next Susan Boyle.

According Access Hollywood, the brutally honest British “American Idol” judge, Simon Cowell said he was feeling her absence on his first day at the “American Idol” judges table.

He stated, “I’m going to miss her. She’s my buddy” before heading into “American Idol” season 9 auditions in Denver,Co. He said that he has spoken to Paula everyday since she announced the news, that she wasn’t returning to the show.

Simon said that Paula is keeping her head high. He said, “Paula has been very cool about the whole thing. And let me tell you, Paula is going to be fine.”

According to my sources American Idol’s brutally honest judge Simon Cowell has made recent statements that he might leave the show when his contract ends after season nine.

The British media has reported that he currently is demanding over $100 million per year to stay on longer, which is why there have been reports going around that he could actually be getting paid that much after he works out his new deal with FOX.

According to reports from NY daily news, The cruel and brutally honest,English judge Simon Cowell could make up to $144 million to do the upcoming season 9 of “American Idol”. They said he was already making $36 million from the show which is already plenty enough, but now Fox is offering him a reported three to four times more than that amount this year.

I say kudos to him. Somebody’s got to rake in all the cash,right ? Simon also has stake in other shows like Britain’s Got Talent” and “The X-Factor”. I’ve also heard elsewhere that the other judges only bring in maybe a million from the show, which is a lot, but not comparatively speaking, to Simon’s 36 million, and possible upcoming raise of $144 million. According to Zap2it, “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell is in talks with British billionaire Sir Philip Green to form an entertainment company that will develop content in the United States and United Kingdom. The potential partnership would act as a holding company for all of Simon’s entertainment productions which include : “Britain’s Got Talent”. “America’s Got Talent”, and “The X-Factor”.

Sir Philip Green owns British Home stores and the Arcadia group which is responsible for clothing outlets : “Top Shop”, “Dorothy Perkins”,”Miss Selfridge” which brings in fashion icons like Kate Moss.

It’s almost close to that time of year again. American Idol is gearing up for its 8th season,but it’s coming with a few changes. They are going to be showing less of the early round audition footage and more of the Hollywood week footage . Basically it means when the season starts on January 13 they will air a two hour show and another two hour show on the 14th. Then they will confine it down to just an hour show the following week and cap the audition shows off on the 29th of January.

Then the Hollywood round starts on February 3, and will get two weeks worth of shows up from just one week in past seasons. It will conclude with 36 semifinalists up from 24 in past seasons. Read the rest of this entry »
