Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in “New Moon” and “Twilight”, told “Interview Magazine” (video below) that he had no idea what the heck “Twilight” was when he first auditioned for the part.

He said his Karate teacher first got him into acting,and so it’s been a real crazy ride for him. He also revealed that his favorite actors are Denzel Washington,Matt Damon,and Brad Pitt. He loves the Matt Damon “Bourne Identity” movies,and would like to be apart of it.

He also said the day after he finished filming “Twilight”, he immediately started hitting the gym because he new what direction Jacob’s character was going, in “New Moon”. Read the rest of this entry »

EW.com interviewed “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Taylor . He shares that he didn’t know how big “Twilight” would become when he first got cast for it. He said he had never even heard of the series before he was cast. He said the fans are amazing,and that he would definitely pick “Team Jacob” over “Team Edward”.

He goes on to describe the differences between the Jacob Black and Edward Cullen characters.He talked about the beach scene in the “Twilight” movie. Then they talked about what happens to Jacob’s character in the “Breaking Dawn” installment. He talked about how he got to meet Stephanie Meyer,and that she was really cool. A Youtuber posted some video footage of Taylor Lautner and Rachelle Lefevre’s appearance at this year’s “Much Music Video Awards” over in Canada on June 21,2009. In This video, we first see Rachelle Lefevre getting out of her ride to do an interview. She reveals that she has a lot of family in Toronto,Canada. Then she talks about her new movie she’s filming over there with Kevin Spacey called “Casino Jack”. She also reveals that she plays a a little online poker on her Blackberry. Next, she talks a little about her character Victoria in the “Twilight Saga” films and how fans react to her when she meets them. She also says that Taylor Lautner is going to convert all the “Team Edward” fans over to “Team Jacob” in “New Moon”.

Access Hollywood recently caught up with “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Taylor Lautner at the 2009 CDFA fashion awards. He talked about how he’s currently wearing the “Calvin Klein” collection,and that it’s awesome. They just finished shooting “New Moon”,and he’s keeping up with publicity. He said they’re on a little break right now. And then they go back to film the third installment “Eclipse” in August.

Alyson Stoner who’s been in such movies as “Step Up”,”Cheaper by The Dozen 1 and 2″,and the popular kid’s show, “Suite Life of Zack & Cody”, interviewed Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in “Twilight” and “New Moon” . This interview was from April of 2008 while he was filming “Twilight”.

Alyson asks him about who he is and what he does. He explains that he’s an actor just like Alyson. She jokes and says, “She’s and Actress”. He goes, “Oh, Ok,then I’m a boy actress”. Taylor said he likes to play football for fun,and that he’s done martial arts for seven years. He says he was a four time world champion in martial arts. Alyson jokes that she was a five time martial arts champion. “He’s such an amature”. He said he had to stop martial arts at 13 yrs old so he could get into the acting business. We managed to scrape up another “Twilight Saga” video interview. In this one, it shows an indepth “Twilight” interview from “Twilight” and “New Moon” stars, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner back on November 28,2008 when “Twilight” first came out. This is a pretty neat video. She first introduces them,and when they walk on to the set, the crowd roars.

She talked to Robert about how some of his fans want him to bite them. Then Tyra asks him to bite her on her neck,and he does. It was hilarious. Then she says, “That felt good too”.She told Taylor that he has gorgeous teeth. It shows Taylor showing off his freakishly ripped abs. Then it show more exclusive behind the scenes footage of how Taylor pulled off his werewolf transformation. Then they show more of the Kristen Stewart and Talyor Lautner running scene just before he turns into the werewolf. “New Moon” and “Twilight movie stars Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria),and Edi Gathegi (Laurent) gave a “Twilight” interview to Reelzchannel back in November of 2008 when “Twilight” first came out. They talked about what it has been like to travel around the world to talk about the movie. Taylor said it has been insane,and that they feel like rock stars.

Edi said that they’ve been traveling a lot,and have got to meet so many enthusiastic fans. They talk about how there was no way to really prepare for the success of “Twilight”. According to aceshowbiz, Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in “Twilight” and “New Moon”, talked about how hard it was at times to film “New Moon” with Access Hollywood. He talked about the torture he had to go through of standing shirtless in the cold weather while everyone else was all bundled up. Here’s what he had to say, “I was shirtless, all I was wearing was shorts. We were in 35-degree (2 degrees Celsius) weather.”

He then goes on to say, “They poured rain on us, which is like so iced cold! And the scene was like four minutes long and I’m just sitting there and you can’t look cold.I’m the only one, I’m just standing there like basically naked with everybody like bundled up in this ice cold weather!
