E! Online critic Peter Paras gave it an A - rating saying, "It's One of The Best." Wesley Morris of the Boston Globe gave it a B -,and said, "There’s enough cliffhanging to give you vertigo." The famed Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times says, "I admired this Harry Potter. It opens and closes well, and has wondrous art design and cinematography as always, only more so." He gave it a "B" rating.
