Socialitelife.com put up some new photos from the set of Kristen Stewart’s new movie “The Runaways”. The “New Moon” star plays Joan Jett in the film along with her “New Moon” cast mate Dakota Fanning who plays lead singer Cherie Currie in the film.

This video (below) captures Kristen Stewart, star of “New Moon” and “Twilight”, filming her latest movie with fellow “New Moon” co-star Dakota Fanning. The video starts out with showing some footage outside of the skating rink where they are filming this particular scene.

Then they cut to the inside,and show all the make up artist. It looks like there’s actors or extras getting made up for the scene. Next it shows people getting their roller skates for the scene.

According to New York Daily News, Joan Jett gave Kristen Stewart a really hard time on the set of her new movie “The Runaways”. So hard in fact, that it caused Kristen to burst into tears.

It’s surprising to hear, because Kristen always seems so tough. They said an insider told them that, “Joan just wants Kristen to play an authentic version of herself, so she needled her a little bit too much. But she apologized when she realized how upset Kristen got.They’re like mother and daughter now.”

A Youtuber put up a video showing “New Moon”,”Twilight” star Kristen Stewart on the set of her new true life film “The Runaways” where she plays Joan Jett who was the founder of the pioneering all girl band rock group back in the 1970′s. The video shows her running down the street in her full leather Joan Jett outfit. The real Joan Jett is actually coaching her at the start of the running footage,telling her to scream, “Yeah !”

You get a real good behind the scenes look at what goes on when they do these takes. Kristen gets a very good workout as she has to film this running scene a couple of times.Finally on one of the takes, they say “And Cut !” She screams, “Yeah!” And then she does this huge leap and falls to the ground. MTV has recently reported seeing them hanging out a lot here recently. They saw them hanging at a Los Angeles studio with Kristen Stewart’s castmate member Dakota Fanning on Sunset Sound Studios on Monday June 15 ,2009 where they are recording the biopic. “The Runaways” is about the true life story of an all teen female 1970′s rock band called “The Runaways”. Kristen Stewart is one busy lady these days as she jumps from filming “New Moon” to currently filming another film called “The Runaways” out in Los Angeles with another hard working co-star Dakota Fanning who also just got done filming for “New Moon”. “The Runaways” is set to be released sometime in 2010.
