ABC’s ‘Lost’ Charlie Pace Character Is Not Coming Back

According to inside reports from EW.com , Dominic Monaghan who played the character of Charlie Pace on ABC’s hit show,”Lost” before drowning in one of the episodes is not being resurrected to return to the show as it has been speculated.
Apparently he has recently appeared in an ABC promo campaign, and the rumors started flying. But the actual reason as reported by EW, is that he’s actually going to be joining the cast of another hour long ABC drama as a full time regular, and ABC wants it to be a surprise. EW promised ABC that they wouldn’t tell what the new show is, so there are no details on that as of yet. But you’re welcome to guess.
CW’s ‘Smallville’ To Introduce New 9th Season Character

CW’s hit show, “Smallville” is casting for a new role. According to one of my sources who received a casting notice from the show stating that they are trying to fill the role of a character named Mason.
His character description is that he’s a charmer who savors life, and appreciates good food. He loves fast cars and beautiful women (what straight man doesn’t). He never misses any details, and is a master of seduction. His intelligence can’t be matched as he outmaneuvers everyone in his path. He longs to find a home, but the vulnerability can be twisted making him a force to be reckoned with.
There are reports stating that he could also be Zod,but it’s not officially confirmed. Read the rest of this entry »
The CW Cancels ‘Reaper’ TV Show

Along with “Everybody Hates Chris” and “The Game”, another show entitled “Reaper” gets the CW hatchet swung at it. The “Reaper” is a comedy / drama that started back in 2007. It starred Bret Harrison as Sam Oliver who’s soul was sold to the Devil by his parents before he was born so each week he has to carry out dangerous tasks for the Devil in an effort to send evil souls that have escaped from hell, back to it.
Ray Wise played the Devil character great. It was a very funny show. It had a Fall 2008 hietas, but was returned to the CW line up in March of 2009 and lasted until the show’s finale in May of 2009. The showed aired 31 episodes over that period of time. Read the rest of this entry »
CW ‘Vampire Diaries’ To Take Smallville’s Thursday Slot

According to the network, they will putting their new “Vampire Diaries” show on the 7pm central time slot on Thursday nights which will replace ‘Smallville’ as it gets bumped to Friday nights at 7pm central time filling the now canceled, “Everybody Hates Chris” and “The Game” tv shows. The CW says that the change shouldn’t effect Smallville since it has a very strong fan base, and they’ll also air “Smallville” promos on Thursday nights during both the “Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural” time slots.
I personally think those reasons seem pretty strong for “Smallville” to survive the change. I hate that “The Game” comedy was canceled. I loved that show. I loved that show, but I guess business is business, right ? I never really cared much for “Everybody Hates Chris”.
Freddie Prinze Jr. Hops on Fox ’24′ Show Bandwagon

Freddie Prinze Jr. just got employed again by snagging a regular role in the long running Fox tv show, “24″ which as of Wednesday (5-27-09) started filming for it’s upcoming 8th season. They will all be regulars. However, two other newcomers that they are bringing on, which include : Jennifer Westfeldt and Nazneen Contractor will play recurring roles. New ‘Twitter’ TV Show Is In The Works

The ever growing, popular “Twitter” website may be expanding it’s roots to a tv show in the future. According to my sources, “Twitter” is collaborating with Reveille Productions (who are responsible for “The Office” and “Ugly Betty” tv shows) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted tv series. There is not too much more information on this project as of yet, bu the show producers announced yesterday (May 25,2009) that it would use the site to put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive, competitive format.
The head of Reveille Productions said that once a network deal is signed, they’ll be ready to go into production. Read the rest of this entry »
