The ever growing, popular “Twitter” website may be expanding it’s roots to a tv show in the future. According to my sources, “Twitter” is collaborating with Reveille Productions (who are responsible for “The Office” and “Ugly Betty” tv shows) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners to develop an unscripted tv series. There is not too much more information on this project as of yet, bu the show producers announced yesterday (May 25,2009) that it would use the site to put players on the trail of celebrities in an interactive,competitive format.
The head of Reveille Productions said that once a network deal is signed, they’ll be ready to go into production.
I had heard about this story for quite some time after the success of the new “Beverly Hills 90210″ show. It’s totally official now,though. The CW has released the new promo (below) for it,and now has it up as a new show coming this fall (2009) on their cwtv.com website.
Gossip Girl’s new spinoff show now entitled, “Valley Girls” will give us a brief look at what to expect from it on Monday May 11,2009 in episode 24 of season 2 “Gossip Girl : Valley Girls”. In this episode,Lily will have flashbacks of her younger self played by Brittany Snow. It will show her wild younger years,and when she was pursuing a young rocker named, Rufus Humphrey.
The show was originally named “Lily” as it takes us back to the teenage years of character, Lily van der Woodsen who’s maiden name will be Rhodes in the spinoff. One of my favorite actresses,Britney Snow will be playing the lead role as Lily on the show.
There are some big names ready to perform on “American Idol’s” rock week, May 6,2009. Chris Dauhtry and his band,”Daughtry” which consists of :himself,Josh Steely,Josh Paul,Joey Barnes,and Brian Craddock will perform. Chris was the fourth place finalist on “American Idol’s” 5th season back in 2006. After that, he was given a record deal by RCA records. His band then went on to sell more than 1 million copies of it’s first album entitled, “Daughtry” within just five weeks of it’s release date.It has now also sold 4,422,000 copies to date.
Also popular rock band “No Doubt” will perform.
On Friday (4-24-09) NBC revealed their cast for their latest installment of “I’m a Celebrity. Get Me Out of Here” reality show. The last time I heard of this show was way back in 2003 which featured Howard Stern’s “Stuttering John” at the time, old school MTV VJ “Down Town Julie Brown, Model Tyson Beckford,and a couple others that don’t come to memory at the moment. Apparently though, there’s been some international versions going on as if anyone over here, cared. I know I sure don’t
So Cw’s New 90210 returned to the airways Tuesday night (March 31,2009) with “Life’s a Drag” episode after about a month’s hiatus,and it was no let down. The one thing that really sparked my interest,though, is this wack trip that Silver’s is on. I swear if I didn’t know any better, I’d think she’s on speed. She did things like hop into his bed in the middle of the night rambling like a mad woman, tried to have sex with Dixon like everywhere, and started talking about buying a studio or something because she’s really all hyped up about a school film project.
Former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and most recent “Gossip Girl” star, Michelle Trachtenberg is set to star in a new NBC drama for next season entitled, “Mercy”. She’ll be playing a much more mature role in this show.
Ok, so in episode 23 of season 8 “American Idol” they went with “Motown” as the theme which was much more entertaining than country week. Well, for me it was anyways because I can’t stand country or rock genre’s.
Review : Claire continues on her mini mission to help save the boy who can breathe under water from being captured by Nathan’s people. Peter borrows Matt’s mind control and mind reading abilities so they can both break in to Nathan’s building and steal some information. They are successful,but Matt gets captured in the end while Nathan helps save Peter after he gets shot in the arm. Then Peter borrows back Nathan’s flying ability from him, and flies away, again after making it seem like he would go back with Nathan.

The CW has green lit a pilot for a new tv show called, “Vampire Diaries” which is based on Alloy’s novels. The novels have beend rivived since the success of “Twilight”. The plots are very similar in nature. The “vampire Diaries” are about a beautiful girl named, Elana who is known as the ice queen at her high school. However, she becomes the object of affection for two vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan.
Damon is the older brother who is charming, but can be sadistic. Stefan is of course the younger brother who is quiet, and really cares for Elana deeply. The two brothers had actually fought over another girl centuries ago.
