There are some big names ready to perform on “American Idol’s” rock week, May 6,2009. Chris Dauhtry and his band,”Daughtry” which consists of :himself,Josh Steely,Josh Paul,Joey Barnes,and Brian Craddock will perform. Chris was the fourth place finalist on “American Idol’s” 5th season back in 2006. After that, he was given a record deal by RCA records. His band then went on to sell more than 1 million copies of it’s first album entitled, “Daughtry” within just five weeks of it’s release date.It has now also sold 4,422,000 copies to date.

Also popular rock band “No Doubt” will perform. And former “Gun’s N Roses” guitarist, Slash will be the contestant’s mentor on the May 5, 2009 contestants performance show. Read the rest of this entry »

On Friday (4-24-09) NBC revealed their cast for their latest installment of “I’m a Celebrity. Get Me Out of Here” reality show. The last time I heard of this show was way back in 2003 which featured Howard Stern’s “Stuttering John” at the time, old school MTV VJ “Down Town Julie Brown, Model Tyson Beckford,and a couple others that don’t come to memory at the moment. This new cast that NBC has lined up will include : Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt of MTV’s “The Hills”,former NBA basketball player John Salley, Janice Dickinson the former supermodel, former American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar who I refuse to believe is a celebrity,but I do think he needs to get out of here. So Cw’s New 90210 returned to the airways Tuesday night (March 31,2009) with “Life’s a Drag” episode after about a month’s hiatus,and it was no let down. The one thing that really sparked my interest,though, is this wack trip that Silver is on. I swear if I didn’t know any better, I’d think she’s on speed. She did things like hop into his bed in the middle of the night rambling like a mad woman, tried to have sex with Dixon like everywhere, and started talking about buying a studio or something because she’s really all hyped up about a school film project. But,then she does exactly what I thought she would do. She filmed them having sex for her video project, and looked surprised when Dixon was upset. I knew she was kind of nutty but this episode ices the cake in a big way because they capped it off with surprise for me. Man, I just knew Silver was a ticking time bomb just looking to explode. Former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and most recent “Gossip Girl” star, Michelle Trachtenberg is set to star in a new NBC drama for next season entitled, “Mercy”. She’ll be playing a much more mature role in this show. She’ll be one of a trio of nurses in which the show is centered around. Trachtenberg is a newby nurse who is totally inexperienced.

The show is created by Elizabeth Heldens, and will also include former “Men in Trees” star James Tupper, Jaime Lee Kirchner and Taylor Schilling.James Tupper will play Chris Sands who is a new doctor at Mercy hospital that has had an affair with one of the nurses while stationed in Iraq. I personally wish her former boss, Joss Whedon would bring her on board “Dollhouse” to work with Eliza. That would be so damn cool.

Michelle Trachtenberg is also playing opposite Zac Efron in the upcoming movie “17 Again” releasing on April 17,2009.

Ok, so in episode 23 of season 8 “American Idol” they went with “Motown” as the theme which was much more entertaining than country week. Well, for me it was anyways because I can’t stand country or rock genre’s. Very rarely do I like anything that comes out of that whole mix. I think the best performers for Motown night were Matt Giraud with “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gay,Anoop Dawg with “Baby,Baby” Desai,Lil Rounds “Heat Wave” song,Danny Gokey “Get Ready” and last but definitely not least, Adam Lambert with Smokey Robinson’s “Tracks Of My Tears”.He did a freakin awesome job with that song. He is really diverse. I haven’t watched “Idol” much this season,but have caught this guy a few times,and he is one to watch. Read the rest of this entry »

Review : Claire continues on her mini mission to help save the boy who can breathe under water from being captured by Nathan’s people. Peter borrows Matt’s mind control and mind reading abilities so they can both break in to Nathan’s building and steal some information. They are successful,but Matt gets captured in the end while Nathan helps save Peter after he gets shot in the arm. Then Peter borrows back Nathan’s flying ability from him, and flies away, again after making it seem like he would go back with Nathan.

The CW tv network has green lit a pilot for a new tv show called, “Vampire Diaries” which is based on Alloy’s novels. The novels have been revived since the success of “Twilight”. The plots are very similar in nature. The “vampire Diaries” are about a beautiful girl named, Elana who is known as the ice queen at her high school. However, she becomes the object of affection for two vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan.

Damon is the older brother who is charming, but can be sadistic. Stefan is of course the younger brother who is quiet, and really cares for Elana deeply. The two brothers had actually fought over another girl centuries ago. Read the rest of this entry »

Hey,fellow “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” fans. You can watch “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” episodes online for Free right now at a couple of sites that I’ve found. The first one is Fancast.com, and the second one is Videosurf.com . I like Fancast.com better just because it seems more organized but I think Videosurf.com may have more episodes. I know Fancast.com has the full first and second seasons of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” that you can watch for Free right now online. Videosurf.com has them as well but the videos are broken up into different parts. But those are two good sites where you can watch “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” episodes online for Free.

Alright, so I just got done watching the season premier of “American Idol” season 8 episode 1 online since I missed it. They were airing the Phoenix,AZ auditions,and I must say that in the midst of all those crappy singers there was some good ,and unique talent there that I would look forward to seeing more of if I didn’t know that the American Idol format is just going to screw them up later on with all the genre switch ups. For the judges of course we still have Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul,and of course the very blunt yet very real Simon Cowell. But there’s a new judge named Kara DioGuardi. Read the rest of this entry »

Well, according to Zap2it. It looks like Tori Spelling will finally be making her way onto the set of CW’s New ’90210′. She’s in final negotiations to reprise her role as Donna Martin from the original 90′s series. The word is that the producers want to get her into multiple episodes of the show. Originally, before the show made it’s debut,there was buzz that she would be joining in on the premier of the show, and that her character Donna would own one of the hippest shopping stores and that the new cast members would frequently go there.
