Summit Entertainment released a press release today stating who landed the roles for their “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie. Filling in the slots for Seth and Leah Clearwater were 28 year old Julia Jones and 15 year old BooBoo Stewart.
Julia Jones hails from Boston ,MA according to her IMDB page. And BooBoo Stewart hails from Beverly Hills, CA. Julia’s resume includes appearances in four episodes of “ER” as Dr. Kaya Montoya,and some other TV /Film projects that aren’t really well known.
But,unfortunately,she couldn’t reveal much more than that,according to Access Hollywood. Apparently the producers are trying to keep the name of her character under wraps, as she stated, “I’m allowed to tell people I play a vampire who has just been turned.In other words, I’m a newborn vampire. I’m not allowed to say the name of the character.”
However, she did reveal how excited she is to be joining the “Twilight Saga” cast,and meeting one of the cast members in particular. She said, ”I’m really, really excited to meet Robert Pattinson.Every single person I’ve told has asked me if they could come to the set.”

More casting for the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie has occurred. This time, it’s another female. Jasper Hale’s ex to be more precise. They’ve Cast “Maria Full of Grace” star, Catalina Sandino Moreno to play the role, according to my sources.
Apparently in Twilight “Eclipse”, Jasper Hale (Jackson Rathbone) gives insight into his past, when he is a Confederate soldier (pre-vampire days). Then, the vampire Maria (Catalina Sandino Moreno) turns him into a vampire,and they wreak havoc together by creating an army of newborn vampires.
This information is going to be very critical to Bella Swan
According to the director of “Twilight”, Catherine Hardwicke, Rachelle Lafevre wasn’t their first choice to play the villainous vampire Victoria in the movie. It was actually Bryce Dallas Howard who they have now cast for the role in “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” to replace Lafevre due to some bogus scheduling conflicts.
Apparently at the time of filming, “Twilight” was to low profile of a film for Bryce Dallas Howard to take on. So they went ahead and cast Rachelle Lafevre to play Victoria instead. Catherine said they would both be great for the part,but indeed Bryce was their first choice.
Hmmm, it makes me wonder if Summit Entertainment wasn’t looking for any opportunity
“Twilight Saga : Eclipse”, the follow up movie to “Twilight Saga : New Moon” has made another casting decision.This time, it’s a male role. They’ve cast Jack Huston who is the grandson of director John Huston, to play the role of Royce King II. He is a human from the Great Depression era.
He will be joining other “Twilight Saga” actors Kristen Stewart,Robert Pattinson,Taylor Lautner,and the others for filming, over in Vancouver.
According to reports “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” has found who they want to play Riley the newborn vampire. They’ve cast an up and coming Australian actor named Xavier Samuel.
The Riley character is described as a good looking college student who joins forces with the evil vampire Victoria,and helps her plot to kill Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). Riley is corrupted by Victoria because he has an in explicable weakness for her.
Xavier Samuel has been in a couple of Australian movies so far, which include : “Newcastle”,and a new movie coming out called “Road Train” which is a drama. The “Eclipse” movie will be his first United States movie role. “Eclipse” is set to begin filming in August of 2009.
Ashley Greene who plays Alice Cullen in “New Moon” and “Twilight” has confirmed with E! online that the “Twilight Saga” fourth installment will begin filming right after “Eclipse”.
She didn’t give any filming dates,but she did say they would definitely be starting right after “Eclipse.” She also said there will probably be a different director for this one as well because David Slade and Chris Weitz are both going to be busy with postproduction,and Catherine Hardwicke will be directing “Hamlet”.
Summit Entertainment has now gone life with their new “Twilight Saga” Myspace site. It features the “Twilight Saga : New Moon” movie trailer which is the latest installment of the series to be filmed.
It also features the usual “Add Friends”,”Add To Favorites”, Add To Groups”,and “Forward to Friends” navigation buttons.
EW.com interviewed “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Taylor . He shares that he didn’t know how big “Twilight” would become when he first got cast for it. He said he had never even heard of the series before he was cast. He said the fans are amazing,and that he would definitely pick “Team Jacob” over “Team Edward”.
He goes on to describe the differences between the Jacob Black and Edward Cullen characters.He talked about the beach scene in the “Twilight” movie. Then they talked about what happens to Jacob’s character in the “Breaking Dawn” installment. He talked about how he got to meet Stephanie Meyer,and that she was really cool.
Entertainment Tonight got a chance to interview most of the “Twilight” and “New Moon” cast backstage at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on May 31,2009. This interview took place right after they got through winning all of their awards for the night. On hand for the interview was Robert Pattinson,Kristen Stewart,Taylor Lautner,Peter Facinelli,Michael Welch,Ashley Green,Elizabeth Reaser,and Christian Serratos.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart commented on the teaser kiss they had on stage when accepting the award for “Best Kiss”.
