After months of it being under construction,it was finally launched the other day,and it sure does look good. I can see what all the waiting was for. Yesterday July 29,2009 “New Moon” and “Twilight” star Rachelle Lefevre made a statement stating that she was shocked over being replaced as Victoria in the “Twilight Saga : Eclipse” movie by Bryce Dallas Howard. Now, Summit Entertainment,the studio for the film, has fired back stating that is was her fault that the scheduling conflict occurred,and that she didn’t even notify them in the proper time frame. Here’s what they had to say :

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Taylor Lautner who plays Jacob Black in “New Moon” and “Twilight”, told “Interview Magazine” (video below) that he had no idea what the heck “Twilight” was when he first auditioned for the part.

He said his Karate teacher first got him into acting,and so it’s been a real crazy ride for him. He also revealed that his favorite actors are Denzel Washington,Matt Damon,and Brad Pitt. He loves the Matt Damon “Bourne Identity” movies,and would like to be apart of it.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, the stars of “Twilight” and “New Moon” explained why Stephanie Meyers novel come to life is such a success in the video interview (below) with ctv just before “Twilight” came out.

Kristen starts off by saying it’s because most girls can relate with Bella,and Rob says that people really feel like they know the characters. Then Robert talks about his Edward character,and told a story that most fans said they liked Edward because he’s so sexy.then another fan said it was because of the way Edward loves Bella.

MTV news recently did a special on Forks High school in Forks Washington, the same area that was featured in the “Twilight” movie. Apparently they have been hosting a “Twilight” summer school symposium and a “Twilight” prom over there. Also a lot of “Twilighters” have been hanging out in Forks. A “Twilight” podcaster also made a visit there.

They visited the same places where Edward and Bella went in the movie. They also stated how similar the town looks to the way Stephanie Meyers described it in her books, which was incredible especially since Stephanie Meyers had never been there. She just Googled it. The very successful Summit Entertainment,Stephanie Meyers “Twilight” film was held as a “film of vision” yesterday June 27,2009, at the 36th annual Vision Awards. The event honored entertainment figures : Lawrence Bender, Jim Walton, Matthew Weiner, Ian Sander, Kim Moses, Diane Ladd, Shonda Rimes, Jillian Michaels and Stephen Nemeth.

“Twilight Saga” stars that attended were : Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Gil Birmingham, Christian Serratos and Ashley Greene.

Congratulations to the “Twilight” cast for winning yet another award. I can’t wait to see how they do at the Oscars. It’s gonna be crazy.

Melissa Rosenberg who is the screenwriter for “Twilight” and “New Moon” recently sat down with makingof.com to give an interview about her experience working on the epic “Twilight Saga” films.

She said working on the “Twilight” set has been one of the greatest experiences of her career. She really didn’t know how big an opportunity it was when she first got the gig. She said that it turned out to be more than she ever could have hoped for. Then she talks about her experience working for the now canceled popular Fox “O.C.” show,and how it lead to her first working with Summit Entertainment who produced to the “Twilight Saga” films.

Kristen Stewart, star of the recent “New Moon” / “Twilight Saga” movie series, interviewed with Nylon Magazine TV back in February of 2009. This video shows her doing a fashion shoot and answering questions. She talks about how the whole “Twilight” hype has made it easier for her to get jobs,and that she doesn’t have to fight so hard to do things that she cares about.

She talked about how she’s going to be playing Joan Jett when she was fifteen years old in “The Runaways” movie. She says it’s cool,badass,and meaningful. Back on November 26,2008, the “Twilight”, “New Moon” star Kristen Stewart interviewed with Regis & Kelly. She talked about how she had been in show business since she was discovered by an agent at a school play. She said her first film was called “The Safety of Objects” which was sort of a dark independent movie,and her first commercial movie was called “Panic Room”. They show a picture of her with Jody Foster in the movie.
