When “Twilight” and “New Moon” star Kristen Stewart came up to accept her 2009 MTV Movie Award for “Best Female Performance” last night, she definitely made it truly unforgettable. I know I’ll never forget it. I’ve never seen any moment like it.

MTV caught up to “High School Musical” and “17 Again” star Zac Efron after the 2009 MTV Movie Awards last night and asked him what he thought of the Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s “Best Kiss” award,about “Twilight” being “High School Musical’s” main competitors,and if he liked the “Twilight” movie or was it just for girls. Zac replied stating that he thought “Twilight” was a great film,and that the kiss was great,and that “High School Musical” was at a disadvantage in that area this year.

Well, it has been a “Twilight” Saga day and the night was no different at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards as the cast of “Twilight” won five of the six categories it was nominated for which included: Kristen Stewart for “Best Female Performance”, Robert Pattinson for “Best Break Through Performance Male”, Robert Pattinson & Cam Gigandet for “Best Fight”,Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson for “Best Kiss”,and last but not least, “Twilight” won “Best Movie”. In an ongoing conversation between the director of “Twilight”, Catherine Hardwicke and MTV reporter Tim Kash, she talks about how much of an impact the movie will have on a whole generation of fans. He ask her how does it feel to know the type of impact that the “Twilight” movie has had in a relatively short period of time. She explains how there are many fans that come up to her ,and tell her that now they’re inspired to make their own movies,and be a director like she is.

“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke recently gave an interview with MTV reporter Tim Kash . They talked about Taylor Lautner and his extreme work ethic in light of him also being nominated for “Best Male Breakthrough Performance” award alongside Robert Pattinson. She stated that he was only 15 years old when they were shooting the film,and that he would always show up early for work. She said when she auditioned Taylor for the role, she not only auditioned him for “Twilight”,but she also mostly auditioned him for “New Moon” because she needed to see that he could play the more mature “Jacob” that the role would call for.
