Tyra Banks to end her daytime talk show this spring. According to Access Hollywood, former supermodel, Tyra Banks is going to be ending her five season long daytime talk show this spring. Tyra Banks told People Magazine, “This will be the last season of ‘The Tyra Show. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms and hair salons for the past five years.”

They say that Tyra is going to shift her focus to a film production company in New York called, “Bankable Studios.” The company is currently looking at potential projects to produce. Tyra stated, “My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.”

According to EW, the formal supermodel / current talk show host is going to be appearing in episode 4 of CW’s “Gossip Girl” third season. She will be playing an actress who is co-starring in a film with Hilary Duff’s character on the show.

The last acting job , Tyra had came back in 2004 when she guest-starred in an episode of “American Dreams.” So get ready because “Gossip Girl” season 3 is promising to be a pretty lively one with more relationships,break ups,and drama.

Produced by Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks, True Beauty features 10 house guests, (Ashley Michaelson,Billy Jeffrey,Chelsea Bush,CJ Miller,Hadiyyah-lah Sa’id,Joel Rush, Julia Anderson, Laura Leigh,Monique Santiago,Ray Seitz) picked to live in a fancy house,and to compete in what appears to be contests that are designed to judge them soley based on their outer beauty. Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks have a new show coming out called, “True Beauty” which premiers on Monday January 5,2009.The show is about contestants who are chosen to live together in a fancy house and go through a series of challenges to see who is the most beautiful.
