Days Of Our Lives To Get Rid Of Dario Hernandez Character, New Details
According to a recent report from the folks over at Soapcentral, the NBC “Days Of Our Lives” crew has decided to cut actor Jordi Vilasuso aka character Dario Hernandez from their roster. So, Dario will be no more here shortly.
Poor Jordi hit up his official Instagram account to say,” Yes, it’s true- my Days are numbered. I’ve been wanting to speak on this for awhile but out of respect and love for the show I’ve stayed quiet.”
He went on to say that the show brought him a lot of joy. It was a pleasure to work with the entire cast and crew. At one point, he said he wished they had taken Dario in a different direction. However, he’s still happy to have been a part of the Hernandez family. He also noted that he’s grateful to the women that managed to escape Dario’s grasp. He stated,” They are such beautiful actors both inside and out and always inspired me to work at a higher level.”
Lastly, he didn’t forget to thank his fans saying, “You are the ones who keep this show going. I’ve gotten to know some of you personally and your passion for the stories and characters is infectious. Your opinions of Dario were hilarious and often mutually shared! Ha! So here’s to @nbcdays ! May you have many more years to come! It’s been a hell of a ride! #dool #nextchapter #lookingforward.”
We’re sure Jordi will quickly bounce back from this. He’s had a great career. He won an Emmy Award for his role as Guiding Light’s Tony in 2003. He joined the cast of DAYS back in the Summer of 2015. Jordi’s Dario is scheduled to make his last appearance before July 2017 is over. Stay tuned.
