New ‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Storyline Teasers Revealed For May 21, 2018 Episode
Happy Friday “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We’ve reached another weekend episode today with the May 18, 2018 installment, and it did not disappoint. We saw Liam confronting Wyatt to point blank ask him if he was sure that Steffy hooked back up with Bill. Oh, what will Wyatt say in this moment? That’s the big, freaking question.
Elsewhere, we saw crooked Dollar Bill Spencer continue to badger the hell out of Steffy. He even threw in a little sneaky blackmail comment about keeping her mother safe. Yeah, we totally caught that. If that weren’t enough, he tried to again make it seem to Wyatt over the phone like he and Steffy were still fooling around by calling for Steffy while he was at her place.
And how about Katie? She was really working Wyatt hard not to tell Liam the truth about Steffy and Bill. She seems very convinced that Steffy is just pure toxic for Liam. I can’t help thinking that Katie is just a tad bit biased since Hope is her niece and all. Whatever the case, Katie isn’t letting up at all on trying to get Wyatt to keep his mouth shut about Bill’s sheisty plan to screw Steffy over.
Also, it looked like Ridge finally got through to Liam a little bit in regards to getting him to consider he might have been played by Bill. We can tell you right now that we may see a big surprise at the wedding alter or just before the wedding starts. An official teaser tells us that Wyatt will end up halting the wedding at the last minute to pull Liam aside. There’s no confirmation of what he says to Liam does during that moment, but we’re guessing it will definitely have to with the heavy secret he’s been keeping.
In the immediate future, the upcoming Monday, May 21, 2018 episode sounds pretty interesting as Bill steps up his level of play to keep his evil scheme going. Extreme guilt starts to overwhelm Katie and more.
We’ll go ahead and start this teaser session off with the Katie storyline. It turns out that she’s just going to feel extremely terrible about trying to get Wyatt to stay hush, hush about the Bill deception. CBS’ description tells us, “Katie feels an overwhelming sense of guilt for the advice she gave Wyatt regarding deception.” An alternate description reads like this,”Katie feels guilty about her advice to Wyatt.”
Will this guilt be big enough to get Katie to change her actions? That’s the big question for this particular scenario. Based on some future teasers we’ve read about Katie, it doesn’t seem like the guilt will be enough for her to stop. She’s still going to keep pushing for Wyatt to keep his mouth shut about Bill’s nasty scheme.
The second storyline teaser reveals that Bill will enter a sort of stage 2 of his giant manipulation by adding some extra goodies to Wyatt’s deal. He’s also going to manipulate Liam at some point. CBS’ description tells us, “Bill manipulates Liam. Then offers Wyatt the keys to the kingdom in return for his loyalty.” An alternate description reads like this, “Liam is manipulated by Bill. Bill makes another offer to Wyatt to ensure his loyalty.”
What extra things will Bill offer Wyatt? And what does Bill’s next move to manipulate Liam entail? Those are the huge questions for this particular situation. We definitely can’t say we didn’t see this coming. This is the type of crap Bill does, and there’s no change in sight.
We do hope that Steffy eventually finds out what Bill did to screw her over so she can hate him with a passion. He deserves it at this point. He’s probably going to end up using more blackmail tactics against Steffy in the future. We can definitely see that happening.
Once again, we were able to get a hold of some additional information for the May 21, 2018 installment via the preview clip for it. The first preview scene reveals that Brooke, Katie and Hope will have a conversation. Brooke is seen telling Katie and Hope of Steffy, “She made choices to lead her to where she is.” Later on in that same scene, Katie is seen telling Hope of Liam,”I truly believe he will be far better off with you than he would ever be with Steffy.”
So, there will be no big surprises here. Of course, Brooke and Katie will still be heavily backing their girl Hope in all this mess. We feel like this entire scene will be quite predictable. Hopefully, they won’t spend a ton of time on it.
The second and last preview scene reveals that we will indeed see Liam continue his very important conversation with Wyatt which capped off today’s episode. Liam is seen asking Wyatt point blank, “Is there any other explanation for what you saw?”
Again, how Wyatt answers this very important question will be a pretty big highlight for this episode. We don’t think he’s going to answer honestly given the fact that we know the Liam and Hope situation will actually escalate to a full-blown wedding before we see Wyatt finally drag Liam aside.
