Important Grey’s Anatomy Season 15 Details For Meredith Grey’s New, Possible Love Interest Revealed
Hey, Grey’s Anatomy fans. We’ve got some very interesting, new casting details to share with you guys. We previously reported that Grey’s Anatomy’s leading character Meredith Grey will be finding love again in this new season 15, and her love journey will supposedly start in the next, new episode 4 which is labeled, ” Momma Knows.”
ABC has released plenty of promotional stuff for the episode from promo clips to sneak peeks, but they haven’t revealed who this mystery guy is that Meredith will be dating in this new episode. The folks over at People.com were kind enough to help out with that. Somehow, some way they were able to find out who will be playing Meredith’s possible, new love interest.
They said they can exclusively confirm that it is former ” How I Met Your Mother” actor Josh Radnor. That’s right guys. You can expect to see Meredith going on a date with Josh Radnor in tomorrow night’s episode. People.com didn’t reveal what Josh’s character’s name will be. It’s still unclear if Josh will end up being a long term romance. All we know right now is that Josh will in fact be Meredith’s date in the new episode 4.

In related news, we recently revealed in an earlier report that Meredith’s portrayer Ellen Pompeo did a new interview with the folks over at Entertainment Tonight. During that interview, they had to ask her again how she was feeling about possibly continuing to do “Grey’s Anatomy” past season 16. Currently, she has a 20 million dollar contract for seasons 15 and 16.
In this interview, Ellen revealed that she has a very positive outlook for possibly continuing past season 16. She said it’s really up to the fans. If the ratings stay high, and they continue to be really into the show, they will keep going.
She stated, “It’s something Shonda (the show’s creator) and I will decide together. I’ve been doing it a long time, and I do get restless, but the fans are just still so passionate about the show.
When you meet people who are going through things in their life ,and they say the show brings them solace and the show brings them comfort. Whether they have cancer. Whether they are an abuse victim. Whether they’re in a marginalized community. Even though it is a silly soap opera. To know that you’re really touching people and making people feel better even if it’s just because they’re crying, it’s meaningful. As an actor, what we want to do is to tell stories and have those stories reach people.
We are really, really touching people’s lives. I see the effects of it everyday. I hear the stories. We really make a difference in people’s lives. As an artist, to be able to touch people in a meaningful way, I don’t take it for granted. That’s for sure. I appreciate it.
I think the fans will let us know when the numbers start to drop and people aren’t watching the same. When people aren’t as passionate about it, it’s time to call it.”
Ellen also joked that she’s been saying Grey’s Anatomy would probably end ever since season two, but it never happens because they keep coming up with new stories to tell. She stated,”I’ve been saying, for the record, that the show is going to end since season two, but it continues to find interesting stories to tell and new roads to travel.”
