New Bachelor 2019 Colton Underwood Is Getting Lots Of Bad Feedback From Popular, Former Bachelors
Hey, Bachelor Nation fans. We’ve got a brand new report for you guys today in reference to the new Bachelor for the upcoming 2019 edition Colton Underwood. It turns out that poor Colton just can’t catch a break these days. We previously reported that one of his ladies from his season Annie Reardon totally badmouth him on her social media, calling him extremely weird and so on and so forth. Sidenote: Colton’s season is currently still filming.
Now, Colton is catching some pretty negative heat from a few popular, former Bachelors. According to a recent People.com article, the folks over at Entertainment Tonight recently chatted up Dean Unglert from the 2017 edition of The Bachelorette which was Rachel Lindsay’s season. He also participated in Bachelor In Paradise season 4 and Bachelor Winter Games. They chatted with Nick Viall from The Bachelorette seasons 10 and 11, The Bachelor season 21 and Bachelor in Paradise season 3. They chatted with Ben Higgins from the Bachelorette season 11 and The Bachelor season 20.
Apparently, they all think Colton isn’t going to do a very good job during his upcoming season. Dean started off telling Entertainment Tonight, “I love Colton. Don’t get me wrong, but he’s not my Bachelor.”
Continuing on, Dean said he thinks Colton is a lot like him in the fact that he’s pretty young. He also doesn’t think Colton knows exactly what he wants in a wife. Dean stated, “You know, he’s a little young. He’s younger than me. He might be more advanced in his life than I am, but I don’t necessarily see him marrying the woman that he chooses for a plethora of reasons. One, I don’t think he knows exactly what he wants. I think he will do what he thinks people will want him to do, and not necessarily what’s right for him.
I imagine Colton’s season going the same way mine would have. Where he wants to do right by everyone and wants no one to hate him ,and that’s going to just go ahead and bite him right ahead in the butt. I’d be a horrible Bachelor for the same reasons Colton would be horrible and will be horrible. He’s a very nice person. He’s well-intentioned. He’s beautiful. I just think it’s going to be a dumpster fire.”
Oh, wow! Dean definitely didn’t hold back expressing how he really feels. Next, came the Ben Higgins interview. Ben apparently thinks Colton is too indecisive and will just totally struggle. He will go through a myriad of different emotions. Ben explained, “I think it’s going to be a very authentic journey of like, struggling, success, failure, lot of tears. The problem is that he’s pretty indecisive.”
Next up, was 37 year old Nick Viall. Nick didn’t really have anything negative to say directly aimed at Colton like the others. He just commented on how difficult the whole Bachelor process really is, and he’s curious to see how Colton will actually be able to handle all that with his limited dating experience.
Nick stated, “It’s very difficult to be the Bachelor and go through that process. It’s that much more difficult post-filming to try to, you know, protect that relationship and through some of the trials and tribulations that kind of come with the show. The kind of outside influences and stresses that come with it. It’ll be curious to see how Colton handles that with limited dating experience in general.
Everybody takes it very seriously in terms of their desire to hopefully meet someone and fall in love because there’s a lot of pressure that comes from being the Bachelor. You feel that pressure going through the process, and that part can eat you alive.”
Aside from all the criticism, People.com pointed out that they spoke with Colton, and he revealed that he thinks he’s totally ready to find his future wife. He’s going to give it his all, 100 percent. He stated, “This is the perfect time in my life to do this. I’m so unbelievably happy with myself ,and now I can focus on finding my wife. I’m so excited to find that. My heart is 100 percent healed, and I’m going to give this my all. And hopefully, I’ll come out of it engaged!”
