New ‘Riverdale’ Season 3, December 5, 2018 Episode 7 Storyline Teasers Revealed By The CW

Happy Friday, fellow “Riverdale” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed this past Wednesday’s episode 6. It ended with quite a startling scene as Alice basically had Betty committed and hauled off to that horrid halfway house or whatever! Alice has been getting on our nerves all season long, and this was the last straw for us. If anyone should be committed, it’s freaking Alice!

Anyways, now that episode 6 is in the books, it’s time to go over what the next, new episode 7 has in store for us. As always, we look to CW’s official press release for episode 7. They released it a couple of weeks back.

Before we go over it, we must serve up our spoiler teaser warning.Yes, this article does contain a few spoiler teasers. If you don’t want to see any spoiler teasers, it’s highly suggested that you stop reading this article right now. For those of you who don’t mind spoiler teasers, by all means keep reading this article.

Alright, now it’s time to party. To get things started, CW’s press release revealed that episode 7 is entitled, “Chapter Forty-Two: The Man in Black.” Ooh, that sounds kinda spooky. Anyways, it looks like we’re in for another very intense episode as Veronica could possibly lose everything! Betty is up against an enemy from her past. Archie meets a new girl outside of Riverdale and more!

We’ll go ahead and start off this teaser session with the Archie situation. It turns out that Archie will indeed continue his road trip far from Riverdale, and happen upon a seemingly lovely girl name Laurie Lake. CW’s official description tells us, “Fearful that he will be caught, Archie (KJ Apa) hits the road and ends up at a farm outside Riverdale where he meets Laurie Lake (guest star Riley Keough).”

So, who is this new Laurie Lake girl? That’s the huge question for this particular storyline. According to the Riverdale Wikia page, Laurie Lake is an “All-American farm girl who takes in Archie and Jughead after they wander onto her property in need of shelter, but what starts as a warm and possibly flirtatious interaction twists into a situation that presents more danger than they could have imagined.” So, it sounds like this Laurie chick could make for a very interesting, new twist.

The second storyline teaser reveals that Betty will not be doing so well after getting dragged out of her own home. She will face a very formidable enemy from her past! CW’s description tells us,”After Alice (Madchen Amick) takes extreme measures to ensure Betty’s (Lili Reinhart) safety from the Gargoyle King, Betty finds herself up against a formidable foe from her past.”

Who is this enemy that Betty will facing? That’s the huge question for this particular plotline. We definitely look forward to finding out.

The third storyline scoop reveals that Veronica could just straight up lose everything with her latest business venture! CW’s description tells us, “After learning that La Bonne Nuit is in trouble, Veronica (Camila Mendes) makes a risky business decision that could cost her everything.” That sounds very serious indeed, We look forward to seeing all the tension that situation causes.

The CW also released a new preview clip for episode 7. It features some very intense scenes especially when it comes to Betty. It starts off with Archie telling Jughead all about his new residence. He says, “There’s just something about this place that just makes me feel at home.” Jughead responds with, “Seriously?”

Veronica is seen in one of the scenes saying, “One hand of Black Jack. Winner takes all.” So, that’s why Veronica is at risk of losing everything. She’s gambling now!

The clip shows Betty encountering her foe from the past. It’s none other than that annoying Ethel Muggs girl. She’s seen telling Betty, “This isn’t Riverdale High” in a very creepy and threatening way.

Betty is also seen having another one of those crazy seizures. Betty is told, “You’ve been a very bad girl, Betty. Restrain her!” So, Betty is definitely in some very deep, deep trouble at that place they dragged her off to. Alice should be ashamed of herself.
