Agents Of SHIELD June 7, 2019 Season 6, Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing That Night
Hey, “Agents Of SHIELD” fans. We have some pretty sucky news to share with you guys in this article. It turns out that your favorite show will already be taking a break during its short, 13 episode run next Friday night, June 7, 2019.
That means the next, new episode 5 of this current 6th season will not be airing on June 7, 2019. No, no, no. Instead, ABC has it scheduled to air on Friday night, June 14, 2019 in its usual 7 pm central time slot. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.
So, what will ABC be airing instead of your beloved “Agents Of SHIELD” show next Friday night,June 7, 2019? It turns out that ABC has this big contract with the NBA, and they’re going to be providing LIVE coverage of one of the NBA finals games that night.
They will kick things off with a special airing of the Jimmy Kimmel LIVE show in the 7 pm central time slot. Then at 7:30 pm central standard time, they will air a special NBA Countdown show. ABC’s official description for this countdown show reads like this, “Live! Michelle Beadle hosts lively discussion of top NBA storylines with a rotating group of analysts and commentators. Also: game previews and highlights.”
Then at 8 pm central standard time, ABC will cover the 4th game of the 2019 NBA finals! ABC’s official description for it reads like this: “Game 4: Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors
Live! Toronto Raptors at Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. From Oracle Arena.”
If any of you guys are pro basketball fans, you will probably still want to tune in to ABC next Friday night to catch this big game. For those of you who are not pro basketball fans, you will definitely want to start making other plans as soon as possible.
We do have a little bit of good news. It turns out that ABC has put out a new press release for episode 5. It does contain a few spoiler teasers. If you have a problem with spoiler teasers, it’s highly suggested that you exit this article right now. For those of you who don’t have problems with spoiler teasers, by all means please keep reading this article.
Alright, now that we’ve gotten our spoiler teaser warning out of the way, let’s get right into this press release for episode 5. For starters, it revealed that episode 5 is titled, “The Other Thing.” It sounds like episode 5 will feature an interesting series of events and dilemmas as Sarge aka evil Coulson will have his clutches on May.
Altarah will have a stranglehold on Daisy, Enoch and Simmons! So, now instead of just one planet that needs saving, there will be two planets that need saving! ABC also made note that this is definitely a hostage situation.
ABC’s official description tells us, “It’s a hostage situation. Sarge has May. Altarah has Daisy, Enoch and Simmons. And now, there are two planets that need saving.”
How will the SHIELD crew get out of this mess? That’s the big question for this particular plotline. One thing that’s for certain is that it sounds like we’ll get a whopping batch of drama and action scenes from this storyline. There’s no doubt about that.
Episode 5 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Briana Venskus, Maximilian Osinski, Joel Stoffer, Barry Shabaka Henley, Brooke Williams, Sherri Saum, Shainu Bala and Christopher James Baker.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 5 are: Clark Gregg as character Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as character Melinda May, Chloe Bennet as character Daisy Johnson , Iain De Caestecker as character Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as character Jemma Simmons, Henry Simmons as character Al MacKenzie , Natalia Cordova-Buckley as character Yo-Yo Rodriquez and Jeff Ward as character Deke Shaw.
Episode 5 was written by George Kitson, and it was directed by actor Lou Diamond Phillips. Again, ABC’s press release confirmed that episode 5 is scheduled to air on Friday night,June 14, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
