New ‘NCIS: New Orleans’ Season 6 Premiere Date Officially Revealed By CBS

Hey, “NCIS: New Orleans” fans. We have some great news for you guys in this article. It’s a little bit late, but better late than never, right? Anyways, CBS recently revealed the premiere dates for their shows that will be debuting this Fall 2019.

“NCIS: New Orleans” is definitely one of those shows. So, we’ve got a premiere date for it, and we’re going to tell you guys what it is right now.

With no further ado, the official premiere date for NCIS: New Orleans is currently scheduled to air on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019 at approximately 9 pm central standard time on CBS of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

NCIS: New Orleans is keeping its same night and time slot that it had in season 5. That means you guys won’t have to change a thing in your schedules to watch it. Just tune in on Tuesday nights like you did last season, starting on September 24, 2019, and you will be all set and ready to go.

For those of you who are interested, NCIS: New Orleans will be paired with the original NCIS show and the new comer, FBI. NCIS’ season 17 will debut in the 7 pm central time slot, and FBI’s season 2 will debut in the 8 pm central time slot. If any of you guys are fans of those shows, this is triple or double good news for you.

Currently, we don’t have an episode count for the new season 6 of NCIS: New Orleans. However, judging by their ratings and LIVE viewership numbers for season 5, we would not be surprised if CBS ordered up another, full 24 episode season for season 6.

Season 5 averaged 7.287 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.78 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. The season 5 finale episode 24 that aired back on May 24, 2019 brought in 6.930 million LIVE viewers and a 0.64 ratings score. The LIVE viewership numbers touched as high as 8 million in a couple of episodes. So, that is pretty darn good.

We’re hearing that all the main stars: Pride (Scott Bakula), Christopher (Lucas Black), Loretta (CCH Pounder), Tammy (Vanessa Ferlito), Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich), Patton (Daryl Mitchell), and Hannah (Necar Zadegan) are expected to return for season 6.

As for any spoilers, the only thing we have to close to any at the moment is something that Scott Bakula aka agent Pride dished out in a recent interview.

He said, “I think that the show’s going to be different in season 6. I think it’s going to be a little bit less of the Apollyon kind of stories and more about getting back to the more local, more personal stories.”

If anything else pops up for season 6, we’ll be sure to let you guys know. How do you guys feel about the new season 6 premiering on Tuesday night, September 24, 2019? Are you excited or what? Let us know in the comments section.
