Legacies Season 2 Spoilers: Hope’s New Location To Get Revealed Immediately And More

Hey, fellow “Legacies” fans. We are finally back at you to deliver some more skinny on what’s about to go down in the upcoming second season. We got a little busy with other topics we write about over here, but we finally found some time on this beautiful Saturday, August 3, 2019 to dive deep into the season 2 spoilers that have come out since the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con event that took place a couple of weekends ago.

In this particular article, we’re going to focus all of our writing efforts on what’s going down with the main character Hope Michelson when season 2 starts back up. Here’s some great news right off the bat.

Apparently, we are not going to have to wait long at all to find out what happened to Hope. According to the main showrunner Julie Plec, we’re supposed to find out right away in the first, friggin episode.

The folks over at TV Guide caught up to Julie Plec at the recent ATX Television Festival, and she told them that not only are we going to find out about Hope’s new fate in the first episode.

We’re actually going to see what happened to her in the first few minutes! So, they are not wasting anytime at all.

Julie stated, “The mystery of where Hope is and what happened is actually the way we begin the first episode. Within the first few minutes, we’ll see what’s become of her. I think it’s going to be fun to watch her first realize that she’s not dead. And two, realize how she’s going to get herself out of this mess that she’s made.”

Hmmm, very interesting. What is her big mess exactly? That is the huge, burning question that we just can’t wait to see. Julie went on to explain a bit of it for us.

Apparently, Hope is going to be stuck in that other world or where ever the hell she’s at with that bad guy Clark. It’ll be a similar situation to when Bonnie got stuck with Damon in that prison world during the good ole “Vampire Diaries” days.

Julie explained, “One of our favorite stories from Vampire Diaries was when Damon and Bonnie got stuck in the prison world together. We love sticking people together who do not want to be together, and in this case, Hope and Clark are with each other and none too happy about it.”

That begs a new question. How will Hope and Clark get along together in their new, trapped situation. Unfortunately, Julie Plec left us guessing on that one, saying they could either become the best of friends or even worse enemies.

Julie stated, “I think when you’re stuck with someone, we call it the ‘trapped in the elevator’ pitch. The end result of that is always going to either be you have a new and very important understanding of who that person is, and maybe have been able to find your way to common ground and to bond, or you just really hate them even more than you hated them to begin with. So, you’ll have to tune in to find out what their future is.”

During one of the Comic-Con interviews, Hope’s portrayer Danielle Rose revealed that the whole dynamic has changed in season 2 because it will be a world without Hope, and they will definitely explore it before bringing Hope back into the picture.

When Hope finally does come back, everything is not just going to go back to normal. Things will be very different. So,that is extremely interesting.

How are you guys feeling about Hope’s fate so far? Does it sound intriguing? Let us know in the comments section.

As we previously reported, Hope will be trying to find her way back to her good ole friends at the school who have apparently forgotten about her existence. So, that will certainly be an interesting process to see play out as the new season 2 rolls along.

As of right now, we still don’t have an episode count for season 2. We’re really hoping that The CW gives it a full 22 episodes instead of 16. Cross your fingers.

As a bonus spoiler for this article, a new professor will be arriving at the Salvatore school in season 2. His name is Professor Vardemus. He will be played by former “Vampire The Vampire Slayer” and “Angel” star Alexis Denisof.

Some of you old schoolers might remember him as good ole Wesley Wyndam-Pryce. We loved Wesley over here. So, we’re excited to see Alexis Denisof jump on board for the Legacies series.

We’ll have to do a more indepth, exclusive write-up about his character in a separate article. Right now, the new Professor Vardemus is described as being an urbane British sorcerer who is also a bit of a dandy.

He’ll also have some ideas about the superiority of the supernatural world that will be troublingly appealing to several Salvatore students. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m certainly intrigued.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for these latest Legacies Hope spoilers, but definitely stay tuned for more.

Season 2 is still scheduled to premiere on Thursday night, October 10, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on The CW.
