‘Empire’ Spoilers For Season 6, October 1, 2019 Episode 2 Revealed
Hey, “Empire” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s big premiere episode 1 tonight. Now that it’s officially over and done, it’s time to see what the producers have cooked up for the next, new episode 2.
Thanks to the wonderful FOX people, we do have a couple of official episode 2 teaser descriptions to run by you guys via FOX’s press release. So, we will certainly be using that info for this spoiler session.
To get things started, we’ve got a title for episode 2. It’s officially labeled, “Got On My Knees to Pray.” It sounds like episode 2 will feature some very interesting, dramatic and intense scenes as Lucious goes on the run.
Andre has to deal with a new complication. Becky and Giselle attempt to get more star power. Tiana tries to help Devon and more.
We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Lucious on the run situation. It turns out that Lucious will indeed still be on the run. In the meantime, Cookie is going to confront Damon about why in the hell did he lie to her.
FOX’s official description tells us, “While Lucious is still on the run, Cookie confronts Damon about why he lied to her.”
Will Cookie get the answers she seeks out of Damon? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. We couldn’t get any other details about the answers she gets from Damon, but we are officially hearing that Cookie will be in a very dangerous situation with Damon in episode 3.
So, at the very least, things will certainly get more intense with this storyline. Get prepped for it.
The second spoiler scoop reveals that Andre will absolutely have no choice but to deal with another issue that has popped up despite having to deal with his own personal heart situation! FOX’s description tells us, “Andre, who is dealing with his own personal trauma, is suddenly forced to grapple with an unforeseen family complication.”
We’re pretty sure this new complication will have something to do with Teri being preggers with his unborn child. We’re also officially hearing that Andre is about to get haunted by a ghost from his past in episode 3. So, get ready for that.
The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that Becky and Giselle will be working their grind pretty hard in this episode. At some point, they will try to round up enough star power from their first Bossy Media artist.
FOX’s description tells us, “Becky and Giselle try to get the star power they need out of their first Bossy Media artist.”
Will Becky and Giselle be able to pull off this huge task? That’s a big question for this particular plotline. The only other spoiler teasers we have for Becky beyond this episode is that she will try her new artist out on a track before getting interrupted by a family visit in episode 3. So, this will certainly be an ongoing storyline for this season.
Lastly, we’ve got a 4th spoiler scoop. It reveals that Tiana will be quite busy in this episode. She’s going to attempt to help Devon figure out what his ideal sound is. FOX’s description tells us, “Tiana tries to help Devon find his sound.”
Will Tiana be effective in helping out Devon? That’s an important question for this particular storyline. We couldn’t track down any other details about her dealings with Devon at the moment, but we are officially hearing that Tiana is about to receive a ton of backlash from fans over a social media post in episode 3. So, look out for that.
Episode 2 will feature a couple of guest stars. They are: Kiandra Richardson as character Yana, Judd Nelson as character Billy Beretti, Skylan Brooks as character Quincy, Alexandra Gray as character Melody Barnes, and Mario Van Peebles as character Uncle Ray.
The season regulars that will be featured in episode 2 are: Terrence Howard as character Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as character Cookie Lyon, Trai Byers as character Andre Lyon, Bryshere ‘Yazz’ Gray as character Hakeem Lyon, Serayah McNeill as character Tiana, Gabourey Sidibe as character Becky, Ta’Rhonda Jones as character Porsha, Wood Harris as character “Damon,” Meta Golding as character “Teri,” Katlynn Simone as character “Treasure,” Rhyon Nicole Brown as character Maya, Nicole Ari Parker as character Giselle Sims-Barker, A.Z. Kelsey as character Jeff Kingsley, and Mario as character “Devon.”
FOX’s press release confirmed that episode 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, October 1, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
