‘The Resident’ Spoilers For Season 4, October 1, 2019 Episode 2 Revealed

Hey, “The Resident” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed tonight’s big premiere episode 1. Now that it’s officially aired and just a thing of the past, it’s time to go over a couple of plotlines that will be featured in the next, new episode 2.

Thanks to the wonderful people at FOX, we do have a few teaser descriptions for the 2nd installment. So, we will certainly reference those in this spoiler session.

For starters, the producers decided to name this second episode, “Flesh Of My Flesh.” It sounds like episode 2 will feature some very intense, dramatic and interesting scenes as Cain attempts to get some new recruits for a very dangerous surgery.

Raptor gets emotionally attached to a patient. Mina’s friend delivers startling news! Devon makes a rotation. Nic delivers a surprise to Conrad and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the the Cain recruitment situation. It turns out that we’re going to see Cain attempt to bring on Bell and Kit to help him pull off his very dangerous surgery so he can drum up some extra publicity for the hospital.

FOX’s official description tells us, “Cain tries to recruit Bell and Kit to join him on a dangerous surgery with the intent of garnering publicity for the hospital.”

Will Cain pull off this feat? That’s a big question for this particular situation. We couldn’t find any other details for that storyline, but we are officially hearing that Cain will make Nic question his practices in episode 3. So, look out for that.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that the Raptor aka AJ Marino will get quite emotional in this episode. At some point, he’s going to get emotionally attached to a patient that happens to have their life in his hands!

FOX’s description tells us, “The Raptor finds himself with an emotional attachment to a patient whose life is put in his hands.”

What sort of consequences will this cause for AJ? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. We couldn’t track down any other details for this particular plotline. So, we’ll have to wait and see. It sounds like this storyline will serve up some pretty interesting moments though.

The 3rd spoiler teaser reveals that a big shocker is about to go down in this episode. At some point, one of Mina’s friends named Adaku is going to show up with some crazy, startling news!

FOX’s description tells us, “Mina’s friend, Adaku (guest star Erinn Westbrook), arrives at the hospital with shocking news.”

What will this startling news entail? That’s the huge question for this particular scenario. This is another storyline we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out because we don’t have any other details for it.

It certainly sounds like it will feature some very dramatic scenes for you guys to look forward to. So, definitely look out for it in episode 2.

Lastly, there’s a 4th spoiler scoop. It reveals that Devon and Nic will be up to new things in this episode. At some point, Devon will rotate out of the ER. Then we’ll see Nic plot out a major surprise for Conrad. FOX’s description tells us, “Devon rotates out of the ER, and Nic plans a surprise for Conrad.”

What will this huge surprise from Nic entail? That’s a big question for this particular storyline. We don’t know what it will be, but we are officially hearing that Conrad is going to make a shocking discovery about the hospital in episode 3. So, get ready for that.

Episode 2 will feature a couple of guest stars. Adler as character “Dawn Long,” Brittney Level as character “Malia Long,” Veda Joy Martin as character “Dani Long,” Anis N’Dobe as character “Tim Long,” Montel Williams as himself; David Alan Grier as character “Lamar Broome,” Jeffrey Cole as character “Dr. Grisham” and Matt Burke as character “Everett Dobb.”

The season regulars that will be featured in episode 2 are: Matt Czuchry as character “Conrad Hawkins,” Bruce Greenwood as character “Dr. Randolph Bell,” Manish Datal as character “Devon Pravesh,” Emily VanCamp as character Nicolette Nevin,” Shaunette Renée Wilson as character “Mina Okafor,” Malcolm-Jamal Warner as character “Dr. AJ Austin,” Jane Leeves as character “Dr. Kit Voss” and Morris Chestnut as character “Dr. Barrett Cain.”

FOX’s press release confirmed that episode 2 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, October 1, 2019 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
