‘Arrow’ Season 8, November 12, 2019 Episode 5 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey “Arrow” fans. Unfortunately, we have some very bad news for you guys in this article. It turns out that The CW will not be airing the brand new episode 5 of your favorite show tonight for some unknown reason.

Here’s the good news. The delay will only be for this week and not multiple weeks. The CW is scheduled to air the new, 5th episode of this current final season 8 next Tuesday night, November 19, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time. So, definitely be sure to jot down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

So, what will the CW be airing instead of the new episode 5 tonight, November 12, 2019? According to the TV guide listings, The CW will actually be airing an episode of Arrow tonight. It just won’t be a new one.

They’re airing a repeat of the premiere episode 1 of this current season 8. That episode is titled, “Starling City.” The CW’s official description for that episode reads like this, “Oliver returns to Starling City where he encounters familiar faces while trying to decipher the Monitor’s mission. Meanwhile, Mia and William’s team clash with a new foe.”

If any of you guys missed that episode for whatever reason, you might still want to tune in to The CW tonight to watch it. If you already saw that episode, and really don’t want to watch it again, you will certainly want to find something else to watch or do tonight.

With all that said, we do have some good news for episode 5. The CW released a new press release, preview photos and a preview clip for it. These items do contain light spoiler teasers. So, we do suggest you exit this article ,right now, if you don’t like spoilers of any sort.

If you don’t mind spoilers, by all means please stick around. Now that our spoiler warning is complete,let’s talk about this episode 5 press release. First, it reveals that episode 5 is labeled/titled, “Prochnost.”

It sounds like episode 5 will feature some action-filled, adventurous,possible intense and dramatic scenes.

In the new episode 5, Oliver and company will find out the key they need to oppose The Monitor. In light of this new discovery, they will hit up Russia yet again in an attempt to try and carry out a mission that involves gathering up all the materials they need to complete the job.

Elsewhere, Connor will have a very big moment in this episode. At some point, we will see him have a reunion of sorts with someone he knew long ago.

The CW’s official description for episode 5 reads like this, “Upon learning the key to oppose The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett), Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team return to Russia on a mission to gather the necessary materials. Connor (Joseph David-Jones) reunites with a figure from his past.”

The preview photos for episode 5 features Oliver in some very intense scenes. So, definitely expect a ton of action to go down in this episode. Roy Harper is seen in a few of the pics. He looks pretty serious in them. He’s seen talking to Diggle in some of the pics. Mia is spotted in some very serious-looking scenes with Oliver.

The preview clip for episode 5 features Oliver being told, “The plans for a weapon that destroyed Earth 2 are in Moscow at a fight club.” Mia is seen telling Oliver, “Dad, let us help.”

After that, the clip cuts to Oliver and Mia in some major fight scenes at this fight club. The clip caps off with Mia in serious danger though! It definitely looks very intense and suspenseful. You guys can view the new preview clip for episode 5 over on Youtube by Clicking Here.

Episode 5 was directed by Laura Belsey, and it was written by Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes. Again, The CW’s press release confirmed that episode 5 is indeed scheduled to air next Tuesday night, November 19, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time.
