‘Chicago Fire’ Season 8 November 27, 2019 Episode 10 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “Chicago Fire” fans. We had to unfortunately hop on here to deliver some bad news to you guys. It turns out that NBC will not be airing the next, new episode 10 of this current season 8 of Chicago Fire.

In fact, NBC won’t be airing episode 8 for quite some time because last week’s episode 9 was the Fall finale episode. We can officially tell you, right now, that the new episode 8 is currently scheduled to air on Wednesday night, January 8, 2020 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on NBC of course. So, definitely be sure to mark that very important date down on you TV show calendars.

So, what is NBC airing instead of Chicago Fire tonight? According to the TV Guide listings, they are airing a Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving special. NBC’s official description for it reads like this, “All-things Thanksgiving going back through the 44 seasons of SNL.”

Then next Wednesday night,December 4, 2019, NBC will be airing another special in that 8 pm central standard time slot. This special is called, “The 87TH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN ROCKEFELLER CENTER.”

NBC didn’t provide a description of it. So, you’ll have to actually check it out if you want to see what it has to offer.

Beyond these two, specific dates, we have no idea what NBC will air in place of Chicago Fire until the January 8, 2020 date.

If any of these specials appeals to you, you might still want to flip on NBC to check them out. If not, you’ll definitely want to find something else to do or watch.

We do have a bit of good news for the new episode 10. NBC apparently released a new preview clip for it. It does contain some light spoiler teasers.

The ratings and LIVE viewership numbers for season 8 look amazing. Chicago Fire is currently averaging 7.713 million LIVE viewers per episode with a 1.16 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The last episode 9 that aired on November 20, 2019 brought in a whopping 8.363 million LIVE viewers and a 1.20 ratings score. With those types of numbers, we wouldn’t be surprised if NBC gave this series a 9th season.
