‘The Walking Dead’ Season 10, December 1, 2019 Episode 9 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight

Hey, “The Walking Dead” fans. We hope you guys really enjoyed the first 8 episodes of this current season 10. Unfortunately, we have reached that time of the year again where we have to tell you that the next, new episode 9 will not be airing tonight, December 1, 2019.

In fact, it will not air for a couple of months. It turns out that episode 8 was indeed the Fall finale episode for season 10.

We do have the official air date for the new episode 9. It’s currently scheduled to hit the airwaves on Sunday night, February 23, 2020 in its same 8 pm central time slot on AMC of course. So, be sure to mark down that every important date on your TV Show calendars.

So, what is AMC airing instead of The Walking Dead tonight, December 1, 2019? That’s a very good question. According to the TV Guide listings for AMC East, AMC will be airing a movie called, “NATIONAL LAMPOON’S CHRISTMAS VACATION” from about 7:15 pm to 9:30 pm central standard time.

The official description for “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” reads like this, “Mischief and mayhem dog the Griswolds as they spend Christmas at ho-ho-home.”

Then next Sunday night, December 8, 2019, AMC will be airing the Christmas comedy movie called, “Elf,” starring actor Will Ferrell. Elf will air from about 7 pm to 9 pm central standard time.

The official description for Elf reads like this, “A human who has been raised by elves leaves the North Pole to search for his birth father in New York City.”

If any of those movies seem appealing to you guys, you might still want to tune in to AMC to watch those. If they don’t, you will definitely want to make other plans to watch or do something else as soon as possible.

We currently don’t know what AMC will air beyond those two dates because TV Guide only shows listings for the immediate two weeks. The most important date you’ll want to remember is the February 23, 2020 date. That’s when The Walking Dead will officially return with brand new episodes.

We do have a bit of good news for the new episode 10 and beyond. It turns out that AMC did serve up a new preview clip for the second half of this current season 10. It does contain light spoiler teasers. So, if you don’t like spoilers, it’s highly recommended that you close out of this article right now.
