‘General Hospital’ December 24 & 25, 2019 Episodes Delayed, Preempted. Not Airing

Hey, “General Hospital” Fans. We unfortunately have some terrible news for you guys in this article. It turns out that ABC will indeed not be airing new episodes of General Hospital today, December 24,2019 and tomorrow December 25, 2019. Our guess is that it’s most likely due to the Christmas holiday.

Whatever the case, you guys will have to sit around and wait until this Thursday afternoon, December 26, 2019 to get a new episode of General Hospital. Be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars.

So, what is ABC airing instead of General Hospital today? That’s a very good question. According to the TV Guide listings, ABC is airing a repeat episode of General Hospital in the 1 pm central standard time slot today. They didn’t say which repeat they are airing, but it’s a repeat. So, who cares?

Then tomorrow December 25, 2019, ABC will be airing a special NBC countdown show. It’s called, “NBA Christmas Day 2019.”

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Bold opinions, discussion and debate centered on the top storylines from around the NBA. Maria Taylor hosts this pregame show with analysts Jalen Rose and Jay Williams.” This special will air in the 1 pm central standard time slot.

Then from 1:30 pm to 4 pm, ABC will air a full blown NBA basketball game between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Philadelphia 76ers.

ABC’s official description for it reads like this, “Milwaukee Bucks at Philadelphia 76ers. From Wells Fargo Center. Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo face off as the 76ers try to slow down the Bucks, who have lost once in their last 22 games. Antetokounmpo averaged 43 ppg against the 76ers last year.”

If that line of alternate programming appeals to any of you, you might still want to watch ABC during those two days. If not, you will certainly want to make other plans if you haven’t already.

With all that said, We do have some new intel for the next, new episode of “General Hospital,” which is the December 26, 2019 episode. ABC did serve up some teaser descriptions for it. It does contain light spoiler teasers. So, if you have a problem with spoilers, we highly recommend that you exit this article right now.

If you don’t mind reading spoilers, please stick around. Now that our spoiler warning is out of the way, let’s go over these spoiler teasers for the December 26, 2019, General Hospital episode.

It sounds like Thursday’s new December 26, 2019 episode will feature some very intense and dramatic scenes.

In the new December 26, 2019 episode, Nelle will try to handle things in a very cool manner. Julian will absolutely hit some sort of breaking point and just outright lose his temper!

Anna and Finn will have a very intense-sounding scene together. At some point, they’re going to have a difference of opinion. That usually translates into an intense, blowout argument. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s actually the case in this scenario.

ABC’s official description for the December 26, 2019 episode reads like this, “Nelle plays it cool. Julian loses his temper. Anna and Finn have a difference of opinion.”

Again, ABC confirmed that the next, new episode of General Hospital is scheduled to air this Thursday afternoon at approximately 1 pm central standard time.
