‘Young And The Restless’ January 21, 2020 Episode Delayed,Preempted For Certain USA Time Zones

Hey, “Young And The Restless” fans. We’ve got some bad news for you guys today. It turns out that the major trial for President Donald Trump’s Impeachment is about to be underway.

In light of that, CBS decided to preempt/delay the airing of today’s January 21, 2020 , “Young And The Restless” episode in certain time zones in the United States to give LIVE coverage of the Impeachment Trial Rules.

The message that’s flashing across our TV screen ,right now, reads like this, “House Managers Debate Impeachment Trial Rules.” We don’t currently know how much time CBS will give to today’s coverage.

So, all we currently know is that the Young And The Restless” was interrupted somewhere in the middle of the episode today in the east and central time zones, and that it’s expected to pick back up right where it left off tomorrow,January 22, 2020. God willing.

One CBS affiliate station named WDBJ7 hopped on Twitter to make the following statement regarding this issue: “CBS has announced today’s episode of The Young and the Restless has been pre-empted because of impeachment coverage.

As of now, today’s episode is set to run tomorrow, depending on further impeachment coverage. No word yet on today’s The Bold and the Beautiful.” You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.

WFMY News 2 also hit up Twitter to address this preemption. They wrote: “CBS says the story-line for The Young And The Restless will pick up where it left off, so viewers aren’t missing anything.” You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.

Judging by that last tweet, we see that “The Young and The Restless” did air for a little while before it got preempted in that particular time zone. They’re on the east coast out in Greensboro, North Carolina.

I guess it’s possible that “The Young And The Restless” could feasibly still air on the West Coast today if this coverage ends within the next half hour. If it doesn’t,it will be preempted there as well. So, everyone should just hope and pray that it doesn’t get interrupted again tomorrow.

We never know when or where these impeachment interruptions will strike. Today,we just flipped on the TV for another session of “The Bold And The Beautiful” and bam! There they were, interrupting everything.

This is the actual trial to get Trump out of office. So, we’re pretty sure the soap operas will get interrupted at least a few more times until the trial is finally over. Only God knows how long this trial will last. We’ll have to keep you updated.

Spoiler warning: For those of you who are interested, we have a few Young And The Restless storylines you guys can look forward to seeing when it’s not being preempted.

Prepare to see Adam start plotting up schemes with Chance. Theo and Kyle will go at it again when Theo starts picking on him.

Amanda will decide she needs to set up boundaries for Billy. Phyllis will run into a setback. Kyle and Theo will get into another intense fight that results in Kyle hitting Theo!

That’s just a few intense “Young And The Restless” storylines you guys can look forward to in the immediate future if the show isn’t preempted into oblivion.
