‘Bold And The Beautiful’ January 22, 2020 Delayed, Preempted In Certain USA Time Zones
Hey, “Bold And The Beautiful” fans. You’re definitely not going to like what we have to tell you in this article. It’s what we thought would probably happen today. CBS, once again, preempted/delayed your favorite soap opera “The Bold And The Beautiful” for January 22, 2020 in favor of airing more LIVE coverage of this President Donald Trump Impeachment trial.
It appears that today’s session is just them giving their opening statements. Here’s the messages we saw flashing across our TV screen at various times: “House Managers Deliver Opening Statements” and “Rep. Adam Schiff Delivers Opening Arguments.”
We got word from a few CBS affiliate stations as to how CBS is claiming they will handle “The Bold And The Beautiful” preempted episode for today. They’re claiming that CBS will air it tomorrow, January 23, 2020, but that’s what they said when they preempted yesterday’s episode. So, I would take that with a grain of salt.
One CBS affiliate station WROC Programming @WROConTV hopped on Twitter to write, “The Bold and the Beautiful was preempted today by CBS coverage of the Senate Impeachment Trial. NewsChannel 5 @NC5 wrote, “Both Young & the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful were preempted today by CBS, meaning you have not missed any episodes.Both shows will pick back up from Monday the next time they’re available to air.” You guys can view that tweet on Twitter by Clicking Here.
That one was probably one of the most honest tweets so far. They said the next time it’s available to air because they know the soaps will get preempted again if the trials start up again tomorrow morning.
Here’s another honest tweet from CBS affiliate station WDBJ7 @WDBJ7. They wrote, “As of now, CBS says new episodes of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful will pick back up tomorrow. As always, of course, that’s based on daily coverage of impeachment proceedings in Washington, DC.”
They said it’s based on daily coverage of the impeachment proceedings.That means, “We’ll probably preempt your soap opera again if the impeachment trials start up.” Guaranteed.
Some very upset fans also hit up Twitter to complain about the Bold And The Beautiful preempted episodes.

Unacceptable to lose the bold and beautiful show. The impeachment drama should be on news stTions only. Your losing your ratings. Trumps guilty but I don’t need to watch the trial all day.
That impeachment fiasco should not be on networks! Nobody is interested if they ate they can watch a news provider! God knows they have enough of those or CSpan. They like Washington crap not us diapers! Put it on after local news as the guys on late night ate not funny not even close. They like all of tv agendas and I am sick of that Congress they are a sick bunch and hopefully they all get voted out! Wish we could vote out bosses at networks too!
