‘Young And The Restless’ January 23, 2020 Episode Delayed,Preempted. Might Air Online

Hey, “Young And The Restless” fans. Yes, we are back again today to sadly announce that CBS, not surprisingly, preempted/delayed your favorite soap opera for a 3rd friggin day in a row to present LIVE coverage of the President Donald Trump impeachment trial.

Here in Dallas,TX, the coverage kicked in right at 12 pm central standard time like clockwork. I mean we were expecting it today. That’s how sad this is. The message that we see on our TV screen today is: “House Managers Present Arguments On Abuse Of Power.”

We don’t know how long the CBS coverage will last today, but if it lasts as long as it did yesterday, it’s going to be a while. Right now, we can confirm that The Young And The Restless has been preempted in the mountain, central and eastern time zones

We do have some promising news today. During our Twitter search to find more information about this subject, a few east coast fans claimed they saw a message on their TV screens from CBS, saying that they will air it later today on CBS.com.

Again, this is a claim from fans. So, we don’t know if it’s true. We can just go by what they say. We’ll go ahead and go over the tweets we found about this.

Ryan @SourceRyan hit up Twitter today to write, “CBS ran a message during Y&R saying “Today’s original episode of Young and the Restless may be interrupted for CBS News impeachment coverage. Go to http://CBS.com or CBS All-Access later today to watch the entire episode. Thank you for utilizing streaming options! #YR”

Renie Hale @Coaster_DC claimed the same thing Ryan did writing, “There goes that “crawl” again. Today’s original episode of young and the restless may be interrupted for CBS News impeachment coverage go to http://CBS.com or CBS all axis later today to watch the entire episode.” #yr GRRRRRR. Life in DC.”

Next, we found a few tweets from very upset fans, confirming and complaining that The Young And The Restless was indeed preempted/delayed in their area.

Renie Hale @Coaster_DC wrote,”Now that Young and the Restless has been inturrpted, now I’m off to see Jean Luc! #yr.” You can view that tweet by Clicking Here.

Arlene Brennan @brennanAr wrote,”@YandR_CBS ENOUGH already CBS. Bring back the Young and the Restless. Put it on an affiliated channel like Days of our Lives does. You use to put it on WLNYD why not now. We don’t want to see the DAMN hearings anymore. Sick of them. Give us our own soap channel.”

So, our final thoughts for today’s Young And The Restless preemption saga is that the delays are certainly continuing with no end in sight, but there is some possible promising claims that CBS will go ahead and air the preempted episodes on the official CBS.com website later on today.

We definitely think its worth checking the CBS.com site later on today to see if they’ve uploaded the preempted episodes. I can say we did just check it at 1 pm central standard time, and they didn’t have it posted yet. But, just keep checking throughout the day.

Alright guys. That’s all we’ve got for this latest “Young And The Restless” TV show report, but definitely stay tuned for more.

The “Young And The Restless” airs every Monday through Friday at approximately 11:30 am central standard time on CBS. Stay tuned.
