‘Riverdale’ Season 4, March 18, 2020 Episode 17 Delayed. Not Airing Tonight
Hey, “Riverdale” fans. We are back at you tonight with a brand new article, but you’re not going to like this one. We unfortunately have to tell you guys that The CW will not be airing the next,new episode 17 of Riverdale’s current season 4 tonight, March 18, 2020.
What’s even worse is that this same scenario will play out next week and the week after that. We were able to get official confirmation from The CW that the new episode 17 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, April 8, 2020 in its usual 7 pm central standard time slot. So, be sure to memorize that extremely important date ,or just write it down on something.
So, what will The CW air instead of the next, new episode 17 of Riverdale’s current season 4 over this 3 week break? Well, according to the TV guide listings, The CW will be airing a couple of repeat episodes of “PENN & TELLER: FOOL US.”
Tonight, they will re-air the 11th episode of its 6th season. It’s titled,”The Mind Noodler.” The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Aspiring magicians perform their best trick to try and fool Penn & Teller, who will get to see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out.
Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Magicians include Scott Green, Mike Donnelly: The Mind Noodler, Doc Dixon and Sangsoon Kim.”
Then next Wednesday night, March 25, 2020, The CW will re-air the first episode of “PENN & TELLER: FOOL US” season 6. It’s titled, “David Copperfield vs. Penn & Teller.”
The CW’s official description for it reads like this, “Aspiring magicians perform their best trick to try and fool Penn & Teller, who will get to see the trick only once and have to immediately try to work it out.
Anyone who succeeds wins the right to perform with Penn & Teller in their celebrated show at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Magicians include David Copperfield, Jan Reinder, Ond?ej P?eni?ka and Giancarlo Bernini.”
Beyond that, we’ll have to play it by ear. If any of you guys find this new schedule appealing, you will still want to flip on The CW during this 3-week break. However, if you don’t like this new schedule, you will certainly want to make other plans as quick as you can.
With that said, we were able to track down an official synopsis and title for the new episode 17 of Riverdale’s current season 4. We must warn you that it does contain light spoiler scoops.

Now that our spoiler warning is out there, let’s take a look at this new episode 17 title and synopsis. The official title for episode 17 is called, “Chapter Seventy-Four: Wicked Little Town.”
It sounds like episode 17 will feature some very intense, dramatic, romantic and lively scenes.
In the new episode 17, Kevin will attempt to revive Riverdale High’s traditional Variety show, but they will get push-back from Mr. Honey when he forbids Kevin from performing a number from Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
In light of this development, Kevin will end up rallying the gang to actually each perform a number from Hedwig. When they do this, they will turn the Variety show into a full-fledged musical that reflects their inner lives and struggles. Also, a certain romance that has been forbidden will actually start to flourish.
The CW’s official description for episode 17 reads like this, “After the previous debacles of Carrie and Heathers, Kevin has decided to revive Riverdale High’s tradition of hosting a Variety Show.
But when Mr. Honey forbids him from performing a number from Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kevin and the gang rally against their principal — by each performing a number from Hedwig, turning the Variety Show into a full-fledged musical that, as always, reflects their inner lives and struggles. And amidst all the drama, one forbidden “showmance” begins to blossom.”
Again, The CW confirmed that the next, new episode 17 of this current Riverdale season 4 is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, April 8, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time.
