‘Bold And The Beautiful’ April 3, 2020 Episode Delayed, Preempted Due To CBS Reschedule
Hey,”Bold And The Beautiful” fans. We know why you’re here right now. You flipped on CBS today, April 3, 2020 to catch the brand new episode of”The Bold And The Beautiful,” and much to your disappointment, it was a friggin repeat episode.
Believe me when I tell you you’re not the only one this surprised because CBS pulls this crap a lot on their daytime TV shows without any type of notice whatsoever. Anyways, we did some digging around to try and figure out just what in the hell happened today.
We were able to finally get some intel out of a CBS affiliate station over in Jackson, Mississippi. This station is WJTV. It turns out that this repeat episode madness is certainly due to all the fallout with the crazy pandemic we’re currently experiencing all over the world.
You see, both CBS’ flagship soap operas “The Bold And The Beautiful” and “The Young And The Restless” have had to shutdown production. So, they are no longer able to film new episodes.
That means they currently have just a finite number of new episodes they can currently air before they finally run out and possibly lose a ton of their viewing audiences.
In light of that, CBS has now decided to air repeat episodes of both The Bold And The Beautiful and The Young And The Restless every Friday in April 2020.
This is an effort to try and preserve the new episodes they have already filmed. So, for the month of April 2020, you guys should only expect to see new episodes of The Bold And The Beautiful and The Young And The Restless air every Monday through Thursday.
Right now, we don’t know if this new rescheduling from CBS will continue beyond April 2020. To be honest, I’m not sure if they even know.
We assume that if production continues to be suspended, they will have no choice but to continue this rescheduling until they eventually run out of new episodes to air. We’ll just have to wait and see how this madness continues to play out.
WJTV noted that today’s Bold And The Beautiful repeat episode featured the 30th Anniversary episode, which was taped in Australia. In it, Brooke and Eric shared their favorite memories.
Bold And The Beautiful’s Monday, April 6, 2020 episode will pick up where Thursday’s April 2, 2020 episode left off.
It featured Flo contemplating paying Dr. Penny Escobar a visit to talk about Sally’s health, and Sally telling a very nervous Penny she needs to calm down and stick to her extremely scandalous, deadly diagnosis scheme.
