‘Young And The Restless’ April 17, 2020 New Episode Delayed. Repeat Episode To Air
Happy Friday and weekend,”Young And The Restless” fans. As we previously reported, CBS is still opting to air repeat episodes of “The Young And The Restless” every Friday as the “Young And The Restless” production set is still currently shut down due to this awful pandemic our nation is facing.
The Young And The Restless films two or three months ahead of the actual air dates of the episodes. So, right now, they are currently exhausting all of their previously filmed episodes.
In an effort to preserve as many new episodes as they can, we are now subjected to these repeat episodes every Friday.
They’re saying that CBS will re-air the October 2, 1991 episode. Apparently, it featured an iconic Masquerade Ball.
The official description for it reads like this, “Residents of Genoa City don lavish costumes for a night of dining and dancing at a charity masquerade ball.
While the “Queen of Hearts” (Jeanne Cooper), “Prince Charming” (Peter Bergman), “Roman Conqueror” (Eric Braeden), “Marie Antoinette” (Tracey E. Bregman) and many others enjoy the evening, a mystery guest has murder on his mind.”
Soapoperanetwork.com also revealed that Entertainment Weekly is actually interviewing stars of these classic episodes to get their take on what it was like to film them.
In this interview, they talked with the Jill Foster Abbott star Jess Walton. She apparently loved her Cleopatra costume and the half naked guys she worked with stating, “I loved my Cleopatra costume.
I loved those two guys who were naked to the waist and fanned me. I came down the stairs with these two guys. We always used to joke that Jill was so beastly to everybody. Nobody really liked her. In all the party scenes she’d be standing alone. So, I actually had two extras to talk to who were fanning me.”
