911 AKA 9-1-1 Season 3, May 11, 2020 Episode 18 Is The Finale. Renewed For Season 4

Hey, “9-1-1” fans. Well, it’s time for your favorite show to come an end for season 3 tonight. Yes indeedy. It’s true. Episode 18 is the official last episode for this current season 3 of 9-1-1.

We do have some good news for you though. We can officially tell you that FOX has indeed renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season 4. So, you guys can look forward to that.

We’re currently not sure how many episodes season 4 will feature. What we do know is you guys will have to wait longer to see it. Here’s where some more bad news comes in to play.

We just learned, today, that FOX served up their Fall 2020 TV schedule, and 9-1-1 is not on it! Apparently, this terrible pandemic has caused a lot of FOX’s primetime scripted shows to have their new seasons pushed back until the midseason.

So, we won’t get to see the new season 4 of 9-1-1 until early 2021. Other FOX shows that are being held back until the midseason are: 9-1-1: Lone Star, Duncanville, CALL ME KAT, THE GREAT NORTH, Hell’s Kitchen and HOUSEBROKEN.

The LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for 9-1-1 season 3 certainly looked mighty strong for FOX. It averaged 6.828 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 1.39 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics.

The last episode 17 that aired on May 4, 2020 brought in 6.989 million LIVE viewers and a 1.27 ratings score. With numbers like that, maybe FOX will give season 4 more than 18 episodes. We’ll have to wait and see.

Episode 2 brought in the highest viewership numbers for 9-1-1 with 7.463 million LIVE viewers. Episode 7 brought in the least amount of viewers with 6.080 million LIVE viewers. The highest rated episode was episode 3 with a 1.67 score. The lowest rated episode was episode 16 with a 1.19 score.

Again, the finale episode 18 of 9-1-1 season 3 is scheduled to air tonight, May 11, 2020 at approximately 7 pm central standard time on FOX.

FOX’s official description for episode 18 reads like this, “The 118 rush to save lives in the aftermath of a massive train derailment.”

Episode 18 will feature only season regulars and no guest stars. The season regulars that will be featured in episode 18 are: Angela Bassett as character Athena Grant; Peter Krause as character Bobby Nash; Jennifer Love Hewitt as character Maddie Kendall.

Season regulars continued: Oliver Stark as character Evan “Buck” Buckley; Kenneth Choi as character Howie “Chimney” Han; Aisha Hinds as character Henrietta “Hen” Wilson; Ryan Guzman as character Eddie Diaz; Rockmond Dunbar as character Michael Grant; Corinne Massiah as character May Grant; Marcanthonee Jon Reis as character Harry Grant and Gavin McHugh as character Christopher Diaz.
