During the renewal announcement, the Executive Vice President of current programs for CBS Entertainment Amy Reisenbach had these kind words to say about the Bold And The Beautiful: “For over three decades, ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ has been a cornerstone of the CBS Daytime lineup.

The show has been a creative and ratings success due to the supremely talented cast, writers and producers that Brad Bell has assembled. Of course, none of this would have been possible without ‘B&B’s’ dedicated fans, whose passion for these characters and stories is unsurpassed.

We are delighted to be able to continue to offer them a daily look into the romances and rivalries between the Forrester, Logan and Spencer families.”

The executive producer and head writer for The Bold And The Beautiful Bradley Bell also chimed in, expressing how excited he is to be working on the next, two seasons.

He stated, “I am thrilled to dive into years 34 and 35 of ‘The Bold and the Beautiful. We are grateful to Amy Reisenbach and everyone at CBS for their incredible commitment to the series. Of course, many thanks to our loyal fans who motivate us every day with their unending passion and enthusiasm.”

The Bold And The Beautiful LIVE ratings and viewership numbers for the current 2019-2020 season looks like this. It’s averaging 3.193 million LIVE viewers per episode and a 0.47 ratings score for the 18-49 year old demographics. This was the data before CBS had to start airing repeat episodes everyday at the end of April 2020.

This renewal announcement happened back on May 20, 2020. So, this was some much-needed good news in the midst of the current pandemic crisis that has caused almost everything to get shut down.

As we previously reported, The Bold And The Beautiful cast and crew got shut down from filming new episodes back in March 2020. Initially, they planned to just shut down for two weeks, but that two weeks has now turned into two friggin months!

It’s recently been reported that the cast is now finally looking to start back filming new episodes in June 2020 if the powers that be allow them to. They will obviously have to deploy extreme safety precautions and protocols if they do. We definitely hope they can pull it off in these very trying times.
