‘General Hospital’ May 25, 2020 No New Episode. ABC To Re-Air May 18, 2014 Episode
Happy Friday and weekend, “General Hospital” fans. We are back on here on this lovely Friday afternoon to let you guys know some very bad news for General Hospital.
The terrible pandemic has now caused ABC to run out of new episodes for General Hospital. They only had 2 months worth of new episodes after getting shut down back in March 2020.
What this all means is that just like CBS, ABC will now be forced to run repeat episodes of General Hospital every, friggin day from now on until only God knows when.
In light of that, we were able to track down which repeat episode ABC has in store for you guys when this Monday finally rolls around. We’re officially hearing that they’re going to reach back into their 2014 batch of episodes to re-air the episode that originally aired on Sunday, May 18, 2014.
It featured the Nurses Ball, which started off with a very surprising interruption during the opening number. There was also a very shocking proposal that took place during it.
Epiphany Johnson, Elizabeth Webber, Sabrina Santiago and Felix Dubois were featured performing an original number called, “Welcome to the Nurses Ball.” Lastly, it featured a special performance of “Willkommen” from “Cabaret” by Dr. Liesel Obrecht.
ABC’s official description for this May 18, 2014, General Hospital, repeat episode reads like this, “This year’s Nurses Balls kicks off with an unexpected interruption during the opening number and includes a surprise proposal.
Musical performances include the original number “Welcome to the Nurses Ball” performed by Epiphany Johnson, Elizabeth Webber, Sabrina Santiago and Felix Dubois and a special performance of “Willkommen” from “Cabaret” by Dr. Liesel Obrecht.”

Unfortunately, there are no new updates as to when the General Hospital cast and crew will be able to get back to work, filming new episodes. The only real positive thing we’ve heard on this front is that CBS’ “Bold And The Beautiful” cast and crew is looking to start back filming new episodes in June 2020.
We imagine if they can successfully pull it off, then maybe General Hospital and the rest of the other soap operas might follow in their footsteps. Only time will tell for right now. We will certainly update you guys on any new developments we hear regarding this issue.
