We did get some new updates on when The Young And The Restless cast and crew might start filming new episodes again.

The folks over at soapdirt.com and their inside sources are now reporting that the cast and crew are currently trying to follow The Bold And The Beautiful’s plans, which is to start filming new episodes again in June 2020! However, they will have to enforce very strict protocals and precautions, which include excluding certain actors from filming.

As most of you know, there’s a lot of Young And The Restless actors/characters that aren’t quite so young anymore. Soapdirt threw out names like Victor Newman, Nikki Newman, Jack Abbot and Dina Mergeron that might be excluded from filming new episodes until a much later date due to them being at a higher risk of serious damage if they were to catch the Covid-19 virus.

We’ll definitely give you guys more updates as they come in. But, right now, it’s hopeful that the Young And The Restless might finally get back to work in June 2020 just like the Bold And The Beautiful cast. Cross your fingers.
