For those of you who didn’t get the memo yet, the General Hospital cast and crew had to shut down filming of new episodes back in March 2020 due to the terrible Covid-19 pandemic that hit.
Then ABC ran out of the 2-month supply of new episodes that the show had pre-filmed on May 21, 2020. So, ever since then, ABC has been forced to air repeat episodes of General Hospital every single day.
Currently, we still have no new updates for when the General Hospital cast and crew will get started filming again. It’s believed they are waiting for the ban on filming to be lifted in Los Angeles, California before they mention their plans.
Meanwhile, the CBS soap operas “The Young And The Restless” and “The Bold And The Beautiful” have been vocal in their hopes of starting back in June 2020 sometime.
We will definitely have to wait and see what really transpires in these very trying times. If anymore updates do pop up, we will certainly let you guys know.
