‘Young And The Restless’ June 1, 2020 No New Episode. CBS To Re-Air January 11, 1991 Episode
Happy Friday and weekend, “Young And The Restless” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed the repeat episode of The Young And The Restless that CBS ran for you today.
We are back on here to report that this pattern will continue on into next week as filming of new episodes is still unfortunately shut down due to the terrible Covid-19 pandemic that has screwed up literally everything.
In light of this current situation, we went out and got the info on which repeat episode CBS will be airing for you guys on Monday, June 1, 2020.
For this one, CBS will reach deep, deep back to their 1991 stash of old episodes. Yep, that’s right, guys. CBS is going to re-air the episode that originally hit your TV screens back on Friday, January 11,1991.
It featured a huge gathering of family and friends to witness characters Traci and Brad’s wedding day. Katherine and Dina were featured in this episode, and they were definitely up to no good as they plotted against Will.
Nikki had a very emotional plotline in this episode as she went through some major struggles with her drinking problem.
CBS’ official description for this “Young And The Restless,” January 11, 1991 repeat episode reads like this, “Family and friends gather to witness the nuptials of Traci (Beth Maitland) and Brad (Don Diamont), while Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) and Dina (Adams) plot against Jill (Walton), and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) struggles with her drinking.”
If any of you guys wish to turn back the hands of time to watch this January 11, 1991 repeat episode, just be sure to tune in to CBS at approximately 11:30 am central standard time and relive all of the classic moments this episode has to offer.
For those of you who cannot stand these repeat episodes and refuse to watch them, you will most certainly want to make sure you free up that 11:30 am central standard time slot this Monday morning.
As we previously reported, the cast and crew of “The Young And The Restless” are currently hopeful to start filming new episodes again in June 2020. More than likely, it would be the latter part of June.
If they do, they will likely cut out all love scenes for a while. We’re also hearing that older actors over the age of 65 would be restricted from filming for a while.
However, we are hearing that Victor Newman actor Eric Braeden is not scared of the Covid-19 virus and wants to start filming new Victor scenes as soon as everyone else does. So, we’ll see how that works out for him.
We’re hearing that Netflix has already started filming new content over in other countries like South Korea, Japan and Iceland with heavy precautions in place. So, it does seem very likely that Hollywood will get the greenlight to start filming again as early as June 2020. As always, we’ll give you guys any new intel we receive about this matter.
In fact, we’re going to give you a new update we’ve just received. We’re hearing that the Governor of California Gavin Newsom did not come through with any guidelines for re-opening the TV and Film industry in Los Angeles.
This is not good. That means The Young And The Restless cast and crew will have to wait even longer to find out when they can start filming again. It’s speculated that the health officials out there still don’t think it’s safe enough to start filming again. Hopefully, this news changes soon.
