We just got a new update about the filming status for The Young And The Restless. As we recently reported, the Governor of California Gavin Newsom didn’t release the guidelines for filming to start up again last week, which means filming can’t start up again.

Now, we’ve learned from Soapdirt.com that Gavin did actually want to get them back working again, but the unions are blocking everything now.

Once the unions take down their roadblock, we should see the Young And The Restless cast and crew be able to finally get back to work. As always, we’ll let you guys know when more updates pop up about this situation.
