New ‘The Alienist’ Spoilers For Season 2, August 9, 2020 Finale Episodes 7 & 8 Revealed

Hey, “The Alienist” fans. We hope you guys enjoyed episodes 5 and 6 tonight. Now that they’ve officially aired and in the can, we are jumping on here to deliver the official spoiler scoops for the next, new episodes 7 and 8 of The Alienist’s current season 2.

These episodes will be airing ,back-to-back, next Sunday night,August 9, 2020, and the 8th episode will be the season finale episode.

The kind folks over TNT were nice enough to supply a few teaser descriptions for episodes 7 and 8. So, we’re going to go ahead and get this spoiler party started with intel for episode 7. Let’s go.

First off, we’ve learned that episode 7 is officially labeled/titled, “Last Exit to Brooklyn.” It sounds like episode 7 will feature some very interesting, adventurous, intense, scandalous, dramatic and possible emotional scenes as Sara, Kreizler and Moore travel to Brooklyn. Thomas Byrnes tries to enact a double-cross scheme! Sara and Moore face difficult choices and more.

We’ll go ahead and start off this spoiler session with the Sara, Kreizler and Moore situation. It turns out that these three will indeed travel to Brooklyn in this episode. The reason for their journey will be to track down clues that are hidden in the killer’s dark past.

TNT’s official description for this Sara, Kreizler and Moore storyline reads like this, “Sara (Dakota Fanning), Kreizler (Daniel Brühl) and Moore (Luke Evans) travel to Brooklyn in search of clues hidden in the killer’s dark past.”

Will Sara, Kreizler and Moore find the clues they’re looking for? That’s a very important question for this particular plotline. Whatever the case, it sounds like we could get some very interesting and possible intense scenes out of this storyline.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that Thomas Byrnes is going to totally be up to some scandalous activities in this episode. At some point, we will see Thomas attempt to double-cross the team when the killer’s behavior becomes more unhinged.

TNT’s description for this Thomas Byrnes scenario reads like this, “Thomas Byrnes (Ted Levine) plans to double-cross the team as the killer’s behavior becomes more and more unhinged.”

Will Thomas’ scandalous, double-cross, plan get successfully carried out? That’s a big question we hope to see get answered in this episode. It definitely sounds like we will get some very interesting and possible intense scenes out of this storyline.

The 3rd and last teaser description lets us know that Sara and Moore will not be having the easiest time in this episode. Apparently, their feelings for each other will get so intense that they will be forced to make some very hard decisions.

TNT’s description for this Sara and Moore storyline tells us,”Sara and Moore’s feelings for each other force them to confront difficult choices.”

What difficult choices will Sara and Moore have to confront? That is a very important question for this particular storyline. It certainly sounds we could see some very emotional and dramatic scenes result from this storyline. So, get ready for it next week.

Now, let’s talk about the new, season finale episode 8. TNT tells us that it’s officially entitled, “Better Angels.”

It sounds like episode 8 will features some very intense, dramatic, action-filled and suspenseful scenes.

In the new episode 8, Sara, Moore and Kreizler will certainly be having a pretty hard time as they wrestle with certain decisions about their future paths.

TNT’s official description for this latest Sara, Moore and Kreizler plotline reads like this, “Sara (Dakota Fanning), Moore (Luke Evans) and Kreizler (Daniel Brühl) struggle with decisions about their future paths.”

Will these three get their issues all worked out before season 2 comes to a close? That’s a big question for their ongoing storyline. It sounds like we could get some more emotional and intense scenes out of this storyline.

The second spoiler scoop reveals that things will be super intense in New York because the city will be doing everything it can to try and hunt down the killer!

TNT’s description for this New York storyline tells us, “New York is in the grips of an all-out manhunt for the killer.”

Will this crazy killer ever get caught? That’s a very important question for this particular situation. We think there’s no doubt we’ll get some very heavy and dramatic scenes out this storyline.

The 3rd and last teaser description for episode 8 lets us know that the team will have quite a bit of work to do. They will not only have to overcome the wrath of the police, they will also have to avoid an underworld gang that is on a friggin rampage and save innocent lives before it’s too late!

TNT’s description for this latest team storyline reads like this, “The team must overcome the wrath of the police and an underworld gang on the rampage while they race to save innocent lives.”

Will the team be able to carry out these very daunting tasks? That is the ultimate, burning question for this particular storyline.

Whatever the case, there is absolutely no doubt in our minds that you guys will get blasted with a ton of suspenseful, edge-of-your seat, action-filled and intense scenes from this plotline. So, get ready to be amazed when this thing hits the airwaves next Sunday night.

TNT’s press release confirmed that the next, new episodes 7 and 8 of The Alienist’s current season 2 are indeed scheduled to air next Sunday night, August 9, 2020, starting at approximately 8 pm central standard time. Again, episode 8 will be the season 2 finale episode. So, be sure to savor every moment of it.
